There were some manga adaptations of the films a while back. Seeing New Hope with manga expressions is actually quite a sight. It actually adds a lot of emotion to the scene when Luke finds Owen and Beru are dead.

Actually my big question for the movie is - Why is Orihime there? I mean seriously. The core of the film is the friendship and romance between Ichigo and Rukia, and it’s not a ship thing like the anime. But there’s Orihime. Admitting she wants Ichigo and...that’s about it. Also training montage > training episodes.

At least when Knights of the Old Republic II took the cliches of Star Wars to task, it was at least established that the alternative being pushed by Kreia made absolutely no sense. That being said, while Solo can rot and I won’t bother with Episode 9, Clone Wars is still a great watch.

Flop Team Epic probably ensures DeMarco won’t pick up a comedy anime for several years. Looks like 2018 is gonna end with a whimper for all non DB items.

I started marathoning it on Netflix after being thoroughly depressed by TLJ to the point I’m probably done with all things Star Wars in the future. But once you get past a few really weak first season episodes, it’s actually pretty good. The writing is mature without ever feeling excessively melodramatic, everyone is likable, even Ashoka, who I was sure I was gonna hate, and all the cash thrown into the show results in really good looking battles. As for Resistance, that looks like crap.

Well she can’t act. David Tenant can. More people need to hire Powerhouse, the guys that are doing Castlevania.
