Besides, this is the third adaptation Legendary has optioned (the other two being Naruto and Mobile Suit Gundam) and so far there hasn’t been a whiff of casting for any of them. Maybe they’ll end up like the Voltron movie that was announced in February, where they stopped talking about it when the franchise was found to be straight up bleeding money because fujoshi don’t buy merchandise.

Somehow one of the best anime of Fall 2018 is a reboot of Superhuman Samurai Syber Squad. Yeah, that weird part of Tim Curry’s resume when he did a ton of voice work because it was quick.

And like I noted in that thread, this blows because between Crunchyroll and FUNi, you got roughly 85% of everything worth a damn in the US with only a few scant exceptions. Not so much with HDIVE. And for bonus points I need to redo my budget...again. I swear, I hope DC’s service rots on the vine and is discontinued this time next year.

Replacing FUNi with HDIVE is like replacing a car with a bicycle. It’s just not the same.

Well fuck. The main reason I had VRV was because of the FUNi/Crunchyroll partnership. I didn’t exactly need old Rocko episodes as fun as that was. Unless they go and lower the price of VRV to the point that getting FUNiNow won’t be a damned headache, I’ll stick with the Crunchyroll/FUNi combo.
