She's the fan favorite and that's how it goes with fan favorites. People get mad when Vegeta gets dicked over by anyone but always seem to forget he killed more people than Hitler. You can excuse Hiro for liking 02 though, she's hot and mysterious. At that age you're not really going to care whether or not someone is a horrible person or not.

Eh does ANN ever give anything bad reviews? It's kind of like an entire site full of Owlchemists. The reviews for the much despised second season of TG are... overwhelmingly positive. SAO alternative.... well I was hoping for something interesting here... it's watchable but nothing special. So far there's just no stakes. Nothing is at stake. At all. No one is trapped in a game, and no one is at risk of dying. I'm not even sure what the plot is supposed to be at this point other than a vehicle for emotional self discovery for the protagonist.

Over 18 wtf man? This is anime. Over 18 disqualifies almost every girl in anime. No Rem.. no Lucy Heartfilia.... pretty much all the girls on highschool DxD and every highschool anime ever. Yeah screw that. See this? She's only 17.

I'd say worse. BC gets a lot of hate but at least you can follow it. And you're not constantly asking... who's that? Who's that? Which guy was that? Is that the guy from before or a new guy? 2 year timeskip plus amnesia plotline = hot mess I thought when they canned the guy who directed the awful S2 they were looking to right the ship, and not go down in history as one of the worst manga to anime adaptations of all time. But amazingly it has all the same problems.

Just in case anyone is curious, the new TG season didn't learn a thing from the previous 2 seasons. Still complete shit. 20 new characters added. No/ poor explanations for why anything is happening. Badly paced. Everyone claiming that you need to read the manga because the anime is crap. Coming soon to Toonami!

Yeah FLCL reruns definitely don't belong at the start of the block, but need to be there to give all the people who never saw it a chance to see it before the sequels. Super... little lower than usual. Kai... still sad that more people aren't tuning in for the big final fight. Black Clover probably belongs before Gundam. But you know how I feel about Gundam.

It's kind of a run of the mill Shonen... I mean they're not reinventing the wheel here. But.... it's basically a Shonen that learned from the mistakes of all the other Shonen in the last 20 years and fixed them, creating kind of a.... Shonen for the modern era... I guess. Unless you just hate all Shonen there's about a 99 percent chance you will like this anime. It's kind of the anti Black Clover. Black Clover did not learn these lessons and tried to follow the old stale formula..... and was roundly savaged by all comers.

Gundam is like Detective Conan. It's one of those things Japan just loves no matter how many episodes they make.

So it seems like this is setting up the final arc of the show where the actual plot takes place. It still has the potential to be good, and it looks like the plot twist is going to revolve around whatever the plantation masters are after.
