    For the sake of clarity, this isn't exactly my own personal music taste. That's plenty strange on its own. No. This thread will be for all the things I find immensely amusing. Largely due to subversion of one type or another. Take something familiar, and mash it up with something else. I've come to learn not to doubt in the internet. No matter how terrible an idea I've had is, in this case, bluegrass Metallica, somebody else with talent has already had this terrible idea and seen it to fruition.

    Been curating a playlist at work, and for the sake of variety, been adding some... unusual selections that I dig up on youtube. And, as we all know, once you start going down the youtube rabbit hole, things get weird. There will be more. Many more. Share your own weirdness. Or don't. I mostly just needed somewhere to collect these vids and also maybe subject more innocent ears to the insanity.

    Would it be a terrible decision if it was intentional, tho? In a way, they get away with showing a little bit more of the show that was left on the edit block, even if it is just a few seconds long. I like how the animation complaints have died down, tho. Whether it's from just too tired to point it out, or letting it grow on 'em, eh, I'll take it. Also enjoying how authentically crass Cammie's writing seems to be. Because of course the most vulgar person on the show is going to be the little Scottish shite.

    Also, still wondering where these upperclassmen were when the freshies were in, like, constant danger being targeted by the villains. Presumably there's more than just the three of them. Since it seems like they're very-nearly-hero status, having a couple around keeping an eye on the kids doesn't sound too unreasonable.

    So, at what age are you allowed to buy your first boobs? Do they come as seeds that you have to grow yourself, to the size you want? Can you replant them if you want them to grow a little more?

    Admittedly, the hand-to-hand stuff always really gets me going. Weapons are cool, but there's just something special about the way he could animate a fist fight (and hopefully something passed on to the team). Ooooolllddd example of his work, sorta related:

    Fight scene was pretty decent, but still feels like it's missing a certain flair I've come to expect from RWBY. It might just be that it's trying to stick a little closer to realism, assuming it's not because the animation team just can't quite reach Monty's level.

    Honestly, reserving judgement on the fight choreography/animation. What we saw was ok, to be sure, but I don't think they've really gotten the proper opportunity to show off yet.

    I kinda liked how it had a sorta similar vibe to Origins already on the block. Start off with established primitive mechs, clunky, lacking mobility/dexterity, and introduce the new hotness in the big mobile suits.

    Genuinely don't understand this complaint constantly cropping up. You all do realize how often anime animates nothing but a mouth, right? Literally Fire Force right now, you can probably count the number of fully animated movements on one hand.

    Mm, think the show coulda used more time developing the setting/characters before jumping right into this. This right here should've been the end of the episode, spend the first half setting up and building up.

    On particularly bright days, often early morning or evening, on the drive to/from work, I'll fantasize about having some gauze or something to wrap over my eyes, as the sunglasses alone just don't cut it.

    Huh. Can't hurt to apply for aid or forgiveness or whatever. I've got insurance, but after getting back a $6000 bill (was 12k before insurance) for a stupid emergency room turned hospital stay which shouldn't have been more than a simple out-patient, I just filled out their forms which basically amounted to "yo, you ain't ever getting this money, I will never have enough to pay you any of it." Kinda how I treat my student loans, too.
