I was going to point out that we already have that actively going on in ND when Lt. FART decided she was the pre-emptive heir to the Governorship but House Rep FART decided he wants to be Governor and now they are trying to see who can scream the loudest about how orange their noses are through neverending political commercials. But I see we've moved on to log cabins.

McCarthy Speaker & GOP House Majority Drama
katt_goddess replied to Master-Debater131's topic in Current Events
Naw. This is just him realizing that the only way he'll survive a GOP dutchoven is if he actually works for the people which means working with democrats. -
Drumpf is going to be the first person held in contempt of court for farting up the place. He might need a gag order for both ends.

Part of me wants to say yes, but the more rational part of me says that the smell of super AIDS slowly heating up in the oven would be enough to give you super AIDS anyway. And probably ruin the oven. And the apartment.

I don't feel like looking up the link for confirmation but I do seem to remember that if there's a disease in the brain, anyone that eats that part of the human raw will get sick. And obviously if they are an active ball of horrific STDs, you could potentially get something, especially if again you are eating raw human meat. [ insert puke emoji here ] Anything you might pick up from eating pig products, you can pick up from eating human.

rants Haters/Complainers: Legacy of Spleen

...were you the cashier at the gas station last night? O.O Because that's exactly what happened in the gas station last night. I hate that my back hurt-hurts. Like I threw it out of whack or something and have no idea how to throw it back. -
I'd laugh at it but she's also including human composting which is honestly an inexpensive green choice instead of being buried in an expensive coffin wedged in an expensive vault to keep from sludging into the water supply. You just opt to get mulched and spread around a tree or in a forest or somewhere where food isn't going to be grown. I think she thinks people are going to grow carrots in a pile of ground people and serve her people-carrots at the next adult lunchables party.

2024 Presidential Elections: the schadenfreude commences
katt_goddess replied to NewBluntsworth's topic in Current Events
There is a growing push to dump the electoral college and go straight for the popular vote but the same people who think that Dumpster got the most votes in the history of ever will fight tooth and nail to keep the easier win of electoral college votes. I keep getting e-mail notices about various states signing on a popular vote pact where they will give all their electoral college points to whoever wins the popular vote in their state but I haven't really looked any further into that. Plus that's supposed to be how it works for most states [ even though, yeah, it doesn't for a number of reasons ]. -
This is going to be entertaining. No golfing. No ego-stroking rallies. No McMunchies whenever he wants. No afternoon nappy-naps. And no hiding when the dementia starts to be too noticeable.

4 years ago he lost bigly in an election that he was actively trying to rig in his favor in the first place. He was impeached for attempting to coerce a foreign country [ Ukraine ] to dig up/make up dirt about his political opponent in exchange for aide that had already been voted on to be sent out. He spent the last year of his presidency physically killing off his base by insisting that a highly contagious and deadly disease was nothing to worry about. He had a temper tantrum and sic'd a bunch of violent morons on the Capital to obstruct procedures there. And he immediately filed to run again in order to claim anything rolling back on him is totally election interference. I can't wait for his incoming public aneurysm.

I think we only have the Plains version of the noisy bug around here. They are an every year type thing so probably won't get any louder than usual.

You mean you aren't supposed to look like you are playing an accordion and/or holding shake-weights while ordering at Chik-fil-A? I've been doing it wrong all this time... -
Buddy needs to very specifically say that should he ever enter a comatose state, he needs to be dressed in a shirt that proudly proclaims 'Still a Dick'. And a pimp hat.

Venture Brothers might have helped with the attitude a bit in that that show also has progression. It definitely helps that whatever deal was made regarding R&M it included mass quantities of merch that could be tossed out at Cons, on 'As Seen On [ as ]' and Hot Topic. He also hasn't been there for the more recent turns which included all this previous season's loose end tie-ups and we don't know if he would have killed the show completely after the firing. As far as the new normal is, R&M lives as long as whoever it is that owns things now can make some money from it. And as much as it hurts to say, as long as it's bringing in that money, other projects may get to live that might otherwise get axed just because someone like Zaslav is looking for another tax write-off. It's been so long since I watched Deadman that I've got the mangas more on the surface of my mind than that season. But I thought [ I could be remembering wrong ] that it ended in a way that wouldn't necessarily require much in the way of doing anything to continue it. I 'think' the people who needed to escape escaped and those that needed to stay stayed in the show. But I wouldn't be offended if it got the FMA: Brotherhood treatment either and ended up being completely redone but with the same animation/artwork.

The problem with Lazzo is that he always seemed to want that 'Simpsons' type series - a comedy that can be watched in almost any episode order, everything starts and ends with that particular episode, and there's no need to worry about things getting 'heavy' or having continuity issues potentially pop up because the continuity is literally its always the same characters in every episode and that's pretty much it. The moment something he had personally labeled as pure comedy started to have a more serious undercurrent and stories that built on previous stories, he would have an allergic reaction. At least 'Moral Orel' got to have its final albeit truncated season to finish up Orel's story but 'Metalocalypse' got the Viacom treatment [ we own the IP and are going to sit on it forever until everything about it is dated and dead and there's nothing you can do about it so nah ] and could have been unended forever. On the other hand, DeMarco seems willing to slap his name on anything he sees as artistic even if it only manages to survive a single confusing season. Someone get him to tackle the remains of 'Deadman Wonderland'.

Not as well as I should. Its getting warmer out so its harder to stay asleep and we didn't really have a decent winter where I would have had all the sleeps to make up for summer problems. So I either pass out for a few hours out of general exhaustion at some point or twitch awake on the hour every hour until the alarm goes off at 5a. Plus wedge pillow is bullshit for side-sleepers.

What Ever Happened to Baby Jane? - 1962. I wanted to also mention Mommie Dearest even though it's from 1981, it just seems like an older film.

91 charges, multiple ongoing trials, fat bastard led an insurrection, on the hook for millions upon millions of dollars at this point having been found guilty of various crimes so far. If he's going to try claiming that he has presidential immunity forevers, then the 14th amendment 100% applies to him every single waking moment. The only reason he's still running around is because gutless republicans decided they'd rather lick his ass then kick his ass when dealing with not one but TWO impeachments. But yeah, how dare any American want that sort of trash off the ballot. And the GOP isn't going to have any money left soon enough because its ALL being funneled into the wealthiest person ever in the history of ever's pocket to pay for his continued lifestyle of piggery and to pay those mounting court fees. Something to think about the next time you get a 'give me money' e-mail from any republican. They ain't getting squat. -
