I mean I never really get the chance to use japanese in conversation either, but I can't say it's been pointless to learn for me. It's opened up a lot of doors music wise. I've definitely found it to be valuable for more than just watching anime without subtitles. I don't even watch anime anymore anyway.. Also there's a brand of old japanese literature I want to check out. Rakugo. (Traditional Japanese comic storytelling.) Havent heard of it. Playing whatever Tomb Raider game PSN shot me a free download to one time was a trip though.. Most frustrating experience was fighting a grizzly bear with Luara.. I had plenty of damn poison arrows, but the damn game didn't really make it clear whether the goal was to poison it enough to kill it or just slow it down enough to bait it out of the way...so I tried both things forever, and I can't remember if I ever got to kill the grizzly or I just had to cripple it enough and run like hell to break through the cave wall I needed to get into to find whatever dumb ass ancient cache. I still need to revisit that game though. I never played any of the initial tomb raider games since I wasn't very keen on the whole climbing aspect of video games when I was younger.. That game blew the whole Uncharted series out of the water overall compared to Uncharted though I think the dialogue and story I experienced from buying the uncharted bundle special edition ps4 was epic as fuck.

Just seems like your looking for some magical self replicating creature like that thing from Star Trek at this point. Raising rabbits was already suggested and all you really need is like a bunch of still mesh to fashion a bunny tunnel out of and let them do there thing. Combine that with a garden for their food source, and it should be sustainable.

I agree. I took care of pigs, and cows when I was younger. Not my families stock, but we rented out acres for use and tended to the animals people put there. I wouldn't want to raise pigs either really.

I mean theres still milk and as long as you got property you'd be surprised how easy the care actually is. Goat shit and a potential goat on your car probably isn't worth it though. Most breeds are natural escape artists as well. Maybe try a fish farm then?
