He did.
Not everyone retires just because they aren't in optimal physical condition. He started it because he wanted to and it could have ended years ago if he wanted to. But that's not what he wanted to do
He's 11 years older than Kubo and was getting sick before Kubo started Bleach.
He's stated he plans to finish or die trying, meaning he doesn't want to retire.
Because the manga industry is known for having exceptional work environments.
You realize he was getting ill and taking breaks during the end of YYH, too, right? Or do you just not research anything before talking?
Uh.... Black Clover had 5 tankōbon releases in 2017 and sold 1,956,974 copies.
HxH had 1 tankōbon release and sold 1,514,111.
Do the math.
BC averaged 391,394.8/vol.
HxH averaged..... 1,514,111.
Dumbass.
I was responding more to the part about only being recognizable for critically panned big name shonen. What I recognized may not be huge, but they're pretty well known for a lot of early-2000s stuff. I can't vouche for quality of most, but plenty are reasonably well known to long-time anims geeks.
I looked at their Wiki page and recognized nearly every title after 2000.
Daos is just neurotic about sales figures. Not top 20 or top 50 of... last year...? Not good enough to be noteworthy.
I thought Jar-Jar ruined Star Wars forever.
Which means it won Star Wars for me because I got ammo to use against a douchebag in grade school who loved Star Wars.
I've been replaying Xenoblade 2 since a few months ago my Switch got fucked by a power surge right before the end. All data gone.
The DLC motivated me to play it again. I'm breezing through it since I remember the mechanics pretty well, so it's not as daunting as I thought it would be. Still pissed I lost a near perfected party.
