I’m considering all the spiders around my house to be part of my decor.

If I walked into this web and the spider touched me I would need years of therapy to get over it.

The webs they make are huge, amazingly intricate, beautiful, and they have a golden sheen. They’re just too damn big. The one on our front porch is MASSIVE. I can’t get a good picture because I’m too scared to get close.

Joro spiders are an Asian spider that were introduced to Georgia in 2014 and are spreading around the southeast. They’re non-aggressive and their venom is equivalent to a bee sting. They’re huge as hell, though, and there are now four of them on the periphery of my house, so I’m planning to burn it down. Also that is not my hand.
