The electric bill is craaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaazy once we turn it on. HOLD THE LINE.

I'm resisting with all my might the temptation to turn on our AC. That shouldn't be a sentence typed in early March. I've got the fan on, window open, a laptop coolpad in my lap, and a wearable fan around my neck. I can't hear anything but I feel good.

I enjoy Aldi, though you have to know the things that are way better there, and avoid the not as good stuff. Luckily for me there are more hits than misses.

I’d played the first final fantasy, and the dragon warrior (quest) games, but they didn’t grab me like IV. -

Indeed. My choice is very much nostalgia-tinged because it was the first RPG I really "got." It's VERY simple, but it was the one that helped me understand JRPGs and the rest is history. FF6 is still one of the all-time greats. -
See those kind of things always blow my mind, though they shouldn't. Chronoception gets weird as we age, with less novel things happening and the ratio of years to our total lifespan get smaller and smaller. It still bugs the hell out of me. Also they should call the next Chrono game Chronoception.

I tried, I don't have facebook.

Maybe? I like Chemical Brothers and shit like them, but maybe that’s electronica or techno.

That me.

And I felt like that was a newer game, until you made me feel bad.

I literally chuckled at that. The grandson loves What Does the Fox Say, and I often think of you and Stonehenge when I hear that song.

I like Final Fantasy 4 more than Final Fantasy 6. -
What I think the study means is that you aren't actively seeking out new music once you turn 33, and maybe you just stop caring if you're not in the zeitgeist.

I wish you good fortune. Time is undefeated.

Things are getting weird, and a little worrying (if you worry about this stuff, which you shouldn’t) with hardware right now. The RAM shortage is getting preposterous, and in my life there’s never been a point where six years after a console comes out, it’s more expensive, not far less. I’m so glad I bought my laptop when I did, it’s 33% more than when I bought it four months ago. Do you see a point where, say, graphical fidelity stalls for the next decade? Do you care? Please clap I mean tell me what you think.

Same, and the animation is stupid gorgeous for the video, too.

Oh, it’s the very top thread, literally. Not very effective, bots. -

Why is this the thread all the spammers congregate in? -
Final day for this next fest! Denshattack is pretty great, it’s a wacky Japanese train game, sort of like Crazy Taxi?

This is the ideal male body. You may not like it, but this is what peak performance looks like.

I have something similar, though for me it's darker blues appearing as black. The whole "never wear navy with black" thing kills me.

Me too, but it borders on apophenia. I truly hate conspiracy theories, while also always trying to connect the dots. I haven't invested in tacks and yarn...yet.

I saw a study recently that said most people stall or overall stop listening to new music when they turn 33. Anecdotally this is exactly true for me. Vance Joy is the newest band that I know music from. I know FOMO gets less and less as you age, which is probably the best part of aging. However, are any of you exceptions to the rule? I mean, most if not all of us are over 30...
