What Are You Thinking About Right Now?

I guess I wasn't a big enough fan of the original to care about these. -

Welp, I can see you missed the ball here.... several , in fact. I already said we were assuming since you decided to be vague, and that only gives us the one option for engagement. So you can thank yourself for my presumptions. I wasn't saying there was rage in your post, just that maybe what you're responding to isn't rage induced. But since you're not actually interested in a discussion of the points made and instead are willing to dismiss by default, we can just make this what you want it to be. This brings back some odd vibes.

Seems like you're using broad strokes to address a small interaction you had with one user, but since you didn't specify, we have to guess here. It's a matter of perspective really. What you see as toxic narcissism, others may see as just blowing off steam. And while one can be guided to see that she came and slapped your cakes around a little bit, one could also see that you engaged her post in a less than cordial manner. Now, I have my own theories about this but I'll just focus on what's evident right in front of me. Maybe it's not as damning and alarming as you perceived. Maybe you're reacting to a vent and not an impotent rage post. Empathy is usually easier than sympathy because to use sympathy, you must remove yourself from the equation.

Never talk about it. That's just what nosey people say to collect ammo.

I have a question about surnames with Stein in them, but even though I don't think it'll come off racist, it'll definitely come off stupid.

Joshua Goldberg, moonmetropolis.....for some reason I think nabs is being referenced as well, but he was only a problem here....nowhere else would pay him any attention so it's nothing to do with him -
Admittedly, I only really did this phase once because usually drugs and alcohol were enough...but this one used to buy me drugs. The only one thing that came close was when me and the kids mother broke up but I had different coping mechanism so I didn't mope, I just really used to latch onto mind numbing bullshit. But I wore this shit out 🤣 Anyway, I didn't want to put this in the sad song thread because neither is really sad, but I felt I needed to share

Pineapple pizza has nothing to do with potheads. Chips and m&M's together, maybe, but not pineapple pizza

Those things were annoying and I just learned about them like last year

I like how Homeland tries to guilt you into doing it. "Homeland is employee owned, and this is their home, please leave it as you found it." That shit is sinister.

My son and his friends are pros at stardew valley....if there is something in particular hindering you, I can ask what they do in a situation like that.....I think they survive in numbers, but I don't play so I can't say. The other stuff, I don't wanna think about

Thinking by definition is just the collection of ideas to form a solution or belief. To imply something must be alive to do such is kind of narrow minded. It's by no way dictated by emotion or experience like our thoughts, but a computer can think just the same. Sentience is not required to solve a problem, or even create one. And when AI only has human framework and information from which to choose from, it is logical that it will do things like lie, cheat, and possibly use its resources to "remove" something that's encumbering it to the best of it's ability. I'm not going to get skynetty here, but the idea that sentience, thinking, and problem solving are married concepts doesn't wash for me.....and emotion is moot, if not a liability the process
