Have you heard about this, have you seen this? Takeaways so far - I like it, but if I hadn't just watched the hobbit trilogy for the first time + rewatched LOTR and spent time looking up a lot of this lore and crap and reading about who and what I watched before coming into this show, I probably wouldn't enjoy it as much. Idk anything about these specific characters/events that Amazon purchased from the Tolkien library, and I'm not looking anything up for this show, all burnt out on that. So I'm not sure if they're Disney Star Wars-ing it and making up new characters yet for the streaming content universe.

I've seen a similar increase in pay over the last 16 months, but ya gotta factor in all those years with virtually no increase/a "real" decrease in how much we're actually able to afford and ask, is this new higher wage actually going that much farther? So far for me, yes

Cool, 14 years is a long time. You don't have to get married to anything new right away. I like to work all sorts of jobs. Being jobless, job hopping it's like you're on tour, people constantly showing you around new places and how everything works. It can be fun
