What Are You Thinking About Right Now?
NewBluntsworth replied to DragonSinger's topic in General Discussion
This is why I stopped playing Pokemon years ago. -
All populations are crashing. It's the industrial capitalist extraction system that is causing the global biodiversity loss we are seeing across all ecosystems, it is this that will beat climate change in taking out most species. Crabs and those types are especially hard hit by ocean acidification which is well under way, many species can't form their shells in a sea of hot acid. While the usual suspects of mass overfishing is one good guess, it's also quite possible the crabs didn't "go" anywhere, they simply can't grow and exist any longer in these conditions.

2022 Midterms: Oh god, not again

He's right now literally facing a ""potential"" (lol) legal charge for lying about his cocaine addiction on a government form. -
Welcome back! Great to see you're still trucking

Get ready to lose some more rights.
NewBluntsworth replied to SwimModSponges's topic in Current Events
Yep, they're completely fake and we don't really have them. It's already been shown that they can be taken away at any time by the very people whose authority you supposedly have them under. It's an illusion and revisionist, fictitious history. "Everyone then had them, if anyone had theirs taken away that was just a special case, either the authorities or the individual were on some level wilding out and that made it a special case one way or the other. Oh there were a lot of those? A lot of special cases then, but the rights, they were ensured for everyone else, so that's, that's something" I mean slavery is literally on the ballot in Tennessee this year, it's been legal all this time. Amendment 3. What more can you even say? -
Honestly I usually ignore Kanye stuff because celebrity but this is getting weird. I knew he had like a church and congregation and stuff, but this seems like going full cult leader

For sure, love the power that comes with playing two jobs against each other. That's basically the most leverage us wage slaves can get for ourselves. Didn't know they banned/fired people, always thought they were like basically every other job at this time -- critically desperate for anyone just to do the job. . . Another warning sign of the looming intentionally manufactured recession.

Not...sure why but o..kay... Wh-..what about the substance of the article...

It is clearly worded that way sarcastically, to highlight the ridiculousness of Trump of all people putting out a better public statement in this moment than the progressive Democrats in Congress who keep rubber stamping more billions and weapons for this proxy war. "Rising to the level" of saying what Trump of all people is saying here re: Ukraine is a reasonable request for progressive Democrats, I would think. Trump obviously doesn't know or give a shit about anything, everyone here already knows this. Aaron Mate knows this. Thank you for pointing this out again today, in 2022. Right, he's an idiot, etc etc, why do we have to do this? Again, everyone already knows. I didn't say "no one understands nuclear like trump understands nuclear" or "he would be doing so great as president right now" or whatever you seem to be projecting onto my post. Sigh. So I didn't bother saying the obvious thing that everyone here already knows about the dumbest man in America, which I've said a thousand times before over the years about that chronically dishonest dietcoked out gameshow host cheeseburger clown, which is that he lies a lot, especially to the public for political purposes. Ok, great, thanks for your assessment of me. Did I insult trump enough times to make you happy here? Can we move on now? Anything to add about what he said about, you know, the thread topic? Again, he is completely correct here. Anything to say about that? Anything to add to Aaron Mate's comment about the Democrats in Congress who are rubber-stamping America's imperialist war against Russia while *not* publicly demanding negotiations to end this war as soon as humanly possible? Because they are absolutely in a uniquely powerful position to make that demand, unlike us jackoff internet posters. So, now that you've policed my failure to reiterate for the umpteenth that Donald Trump is not an honest or smart man... Do you have anything to say about the actual substance of what our former dumbass President said, and about what our "progressive" Democrats are not saying while they repeatedly approve funding for this war?

All I said was that he is completely correct in that clip, which he is. What does that have to do with the rest of your gobbledygook about his finances and nuking hurricanes? How does that make me gullible?

I don't think this "Putin is a madman who cannot be reasoned with" caricature is accurate or representative of reality, just regime change propaganda. https://responsiblestatecraft.org/2022/09/02/diplomacy-watch-why-did-the-west-stop-a-peace-deal-in-ukraine/ ^ Good context on negotiations with Russia over the course of this year.

Earth? I mean how else do you see this being resolved, in reality here on Earth?

He is literally completely correct.

"no no no, I do not support American imperialist wars, I merely oppose America's enemies thst America wages imperialist wars against" Buddy I have got some bad news for you
-
Why do American imperialists think repeating the fact that Russia invaded Ukraine somehow absolves them from supporting America's latest imperialist war? The world may never know.
-
The way you're conflating "democracy" with "Democrats" here is.... really something. But yes, the Democrats won't do anything to stop fascism, you are right about that. You'll keep voting for that garbage though.

Oh I see, so in the case of this particular bridge it's Russia's bridge that connects to Ukraine, not Ukraine's bridge connecting to Russia. How many bridges in Ukraine has the Ukranian side in this war blown up by now? Because it seems like a LOT https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-62533670 https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-62328682 https://www.businessinsider.com/ukraine-blows-up-kyiv-bridge-try-stop-russia-tanks-2022-2 Etc etc. But yeah, it's good that Ukraine is blowing up all these bridges and bombing all these buildings in Ukraine so that Russians can't use them. All worth it. It's all on the table, that's what "til the last Ukrainian" means. For the West, it is worth sacrificing everything and everyone in Ukraine in this proxy war to expel Russia from territory it has controlled for years. America is the dominant military superpower empire on planet Earth, not Russia, so therefore America is the one that decides all this that is happening in Ukraine, on Russia's border. Not Russia. America. And it is very important we risk nuclear war to make that stupid evil point. Otherwise what sort of world would this be, where countries can just invade each other with soldiers and weapons and kill people and do war crimes and annex territory for their own use and operate out of them indefinitely and control their resources with impunity??? Hmm, what's that? You're saying that perfectly describes the world we've already been living in all along, with America and its friends and allies doing that literally all the time to other countries as a matter of course...? Well, obviously! That part is right and good and cannot and must not ever be challenged by any other countries! No. Only America must be the great decider. That is what this war is over. And that is the reality what you all are supporting when you cheer on America's primary role in its latest round of war against Russia, this time in Ukraine, whether you know it or not. Whether you like it or not. You are supporting American imperialism. Americans should oppose America's imperialist wars. Yes, every time.

"Need help in the United States? Pretend you're in Ukraine" https://rall.com/comic/need-help-in-the-united-states-pretend-youre-in-ukraine Endless money for weapons of war but no money to help the poor. This is what it's like to live in our evil empire that is destroying the entire world. The CIA has never done anything good, this time is not the exception. End American involvement in the war in Ukraine.

This is fine .jpg As long as some tubby white Americans can say "well, it was Putin's fault, he started it," that makes all of America's subsequent actions that have led us to the brink of nuclear holocaust acceptable. At least we called the people who wanted to end this war as soon as possible "Neville Chamberlain," that's what is truly important here.

Ukraine blowing up its own bridges, shelling and killing its own people as it has done for the last 8 years... definitely winning~! https://theintercept.com/2022/10/05/russia-ukraine-putin-cia/ CIA, US special forces, NATO operating in Ukraine, keeping our war machine spewing its noxious death and destruction so that our empire can maintain its strategic foothold in {every country on Earth}. What sort of global empire would we be if we let this war go by the wayside, just because of some worry warts fretting about a little nuclear annihilation?
