I'm glad I no longer work overnight. One year, I had my hand in a deep fryer cleaning it of crud when the new year came. How miserable, but at least it was a double wage shift.

This past year, I have learned to actively ignore certain situations and stop rumination when I notice it happening. Not gonna lie, my mental health has vastly improved. I wish I knew how to do this much earlier in my life. I think I'm gonna experience a vast amount of personal growth in 2026. The world may turn to shit, but I will persist.

I made ambrosia for the first time ever tonight. It was seriously the easiest dessert I've ever made other than scooping out ice cream. There's more effort into baking cookies that you just put in the oven.

I think I'm gonna let my duolingo streak expire. I've been half assing Spanish lately, and my Japanese really needs attention if I wanna improve it on time for a trip to Japan next year. Duolingo Japanese is pretty subpar. 450 day streak . . . oh well.
