I realized this right after I typed it out. My mistake.

I get a letter in the mail from my insurance company asking me to call and confirm my address. Should I reveal the stupid to them or let them figure out on their own?

No, I just meant they were the only ones who celebrated my birthday with me. I never had any actual parties.

Birthday parties have always been a weird concept to me. I guess because I never really had them as a kid (just my siblings & parents). I mean, if you wanna throw a party for your kids, that’s fine. But grown men & women have no business throwing one for themselves. It’s weird and it can stink of desperation, in some instances. Sorry for such a long-winded and cynical take here. I get like this sometimes.
