I've worked it before and also love it. Things are more quiet. As much as I post here, I'm actually not a very social person. I can live with working in the later hours.

Moved into a house. Getting phone calls from scammers at inconvenient hours. Spending more time with my cat. Moving toward a night shift job.

Yeah, they all lead to places in New York and California. I don't know why I believed it could have possibly been something more sinister. Just thought it was odd that someone actually referred to me by my last name. Also, I typically get phone calls before work and not past 7:00 PM. If the latter happens, it's usually someone I know.

The last three phone calls came from numbers that I don't recognize. They have been pretty unusual. I'll get a man or woman asking over the phone "Hello," and they proceed to use my last name. "Hello, Mr. ____." I respond with "Yeah, who is this?" There's blank silence and I hear a "click," which lets me know they hung up. It happened once at 11:13 AM, again at 1:06 PM, and finally at 9:24 PM. Not sure if this is just the phone lines being shitty in the new neighborhood, or if I'm being sought out.

I probably shouldn't judge based on that preview, but some of these look generic as all hell.

Do what you want, man. It's good that people here want to better themselves. However, don't let this keep you from doing stand-up just because of one botched gig with a bunch of hecklers, man. I know what you mean. I was in a tough career before I got a degree in social work. It doesn't have to be the end of that chapter if you don't want that to be the case.

Bumping this because I moved into an actual house and couldn't resist taking this picture of my cat as I was moving stuff in. My parents wanted me to take him with me. He's essentially my cat at this point. As he grows older, I've been taking more pictures of him. He's going to be 12 years old in May. I'm not ready for that. He's always been my good old boy. I was 16 when we got him, and that feels like such a long time ago. As the years go by, however, I notice how old he's getting.

Which station kept your attention for most of the morning? For me, it was Fox Kids. However, this changed when the Fox Box came around. After the programming changed, I would occasionally switch to WB Kids during the mornings. I didn't feel that the programming that Fox broadcast was compelling enough after 2003 to keep me on board. Soon after, I just stopped watching cartoons in the morning altogether.
