Her voice is relatively deep so that's the first thing I notice about it. I've heard her on a podcast or two. There's a rather infamous radio show she did where she got pissed when the host mentioned her porn career.

I can recognize voices pretty regularly so maybe it's just you. That could also be just a courtesy just in case the person you're calling doesn't recognize your voice. A formality really.

Voices are much more distinct than you think. Besides, someone asked if it was really her and she said it was. The voice matched as far as I could tell so I have no reason not to believe it was true. Then again, who knows. That's why I didn't say I definitely played with her.
