Why would it stain the relationship though? I mean, Tenchi Muyo GXP was a ratings disaster, and Toonami still has things from Funi. They just didn't renew GXP. For that matter, Uno Pacu failed in ratings, yet Toonami continues to run with DBS. I just don't see the connection between individual shows and working with production companies, particularly since there are so few of them.

I can see the promo idea working, particularly if it is advertised. I'm not sure about mega hit, but I think it has the potential to draw from a wider range of viewers, if it is done correctly. I have hope for it, but it has to be an adult program. It can't be some kind of teen/20-nothing pop culture nonsense, or it will flop.

Grim as the totals might be, the total block share was above average through the first half. That isn't bad given the Hallmark Originals, college football and LivePD competition. Will Megaloratings fix that, hard telling, but it is kind of clear that MobPsycho is a bust.

It was never as bad as some people claimed. I would suspect it would do better in terms of ratings if moved towards the front of the block. The beginning with the screaming is pretty awful, but also pretty short. It is actually quite good now and one of the few shows I DVR anymore from the block.
