I'd say that depends on what Adult Swim has lined up at 11 PM. My Hero Academia would probably do awesome! But if Toonami drops 11 PM and it goes back to [as] and Family Guy, it'll still probably be OK. But I guess we'll find out the June 3rd schedule soon!

Well, at least it didn't lose that badly from DBZ KFC this week even if it is still a pretty rough drop! I just wish Gundam Unicorn could do a little better. It's only managed a 700K+ ONCE in that timeslot. All of the material adapted from the last 3 OVAs is doing fewer than 600K viewers so far. Compare that to what Shippuden and One Piece have done in that timeslot, and it's quite depressing!

And if you miss it tonight, you've got at least one more chance to catch it for the foreseeable future at 9:50 AM tomorrow, so set your DVRs if you like most Americans have to work tomorrow!

Yeah, I'd say some of that eventually rubbed off on me, actually, back in the original days of the Adult Swim ratings report, which was more than just a Toonami thread back then!

Now as for how I rank the 9 shows: #9: Dragon Ball Super - Mostly god-awful filler but at least there's good stuff on the horizon... #8: DBZ KFC - We interrupt the battle to stop Majin Buu for a 5-way battle royale! #7: Naruto: Shippuden - Closer and closer to the mystery of Pain... #6: Tokyo Ghoul - Probably the most gripping action the show has had yet! #5: Gundam Unicorn - Just when you thought Riddhe was finally about to redeem himself, he goes and does THAT!? #4: Ghost in the Shell - A classic episode that was an absolute TREAT to finally see in HD. #3: Hunter x Hunter - Meet Chrollo, leader of the Phantom Troupe. Super emo. Super intense! #2: Samurai Jack - All's fair in love and war, I guess! And the strange saga of Scaramouche also came to a surprising end! #1: Attack on Titan - The Titan attack got even more fierce, and then one of the guard revealed a shocking secret!

Not really true for Attack on Titan, if you want the dub. But ALMOST true, since one only needs to wait a day before it shows up on FUNimation NOW!

A double-down night would certainly be interesting! It would also be an interesting ratings experiment to see if shows do better! And I guess people wouldn't hate on taking a 3-week break from Hunter x Hunter that much!

I'll have to rewatch; somehow I missed that. Fortunately my trusty DVR will allow me to rewind 1.5 hours so I can do so more effortlessly! [yes, I'm lazy...]

The first time I ever saw this episode back in 2005, I remember looking away from the screen, and then hearing those voices, then looking at the screen and seeing the spider-bots, and then I thought "wow, this is weird!!"

Fun fact: this is the only episode of this show I haven't seen yet in some form! I wanted to marathon it before it was supposed to leave the internet before coming to Toonami, and I couldn't find this episode!

I thought Tokyo Ghoul was emo, but HxH out-emoed it tonight! ON to Gundam Unicorn!
