I barely thought we'd make it over $300 so I'm quite pleased. If we get over $1k I'll throw another hundred towards the sick kids, but I'll prob need to wait a couple weeks to do the whole donation since my first paycheck of the year is going towards my wedding.

As a side note, the St. Judes donation form has an option to donate in memory of someone that's passed. Would anyone object to donating in the name of J Michael Crow (Luuv)?

Same here. I think it's because I have family to celebrate with now. (Technically I did last year but I didn't know any of them were going to be so kind and welcoming to me until Christmas day). Previous years I spent alone with my cats in a house in the desert.

It's the same one. I don't believe we have an option to reset the counter unfortunately. I would have to re-make the fundraiser and get it re-approved.

Personally, I suggest standing up and walking away from the computer if it's that much of an issue.

Just take em to a chain steakhouse or something. They'll be happy and you'll still have ~$2200.

Why not do contract work? That's not employment. You could also just Uber or something if you don't care about making that much money.

Oh fuck they're adorable. We have 3 right now, really debating getting a 4th... there's one at the local cat cafe that's been there for a year, his brother got adopted and he's been there alone... I wanna take him every time we're there.

The college classes I've taught seemed to lead people to think I was pretty smart. At least smart enough to know what a professor is and how they're hired. Maybe one day you wont embarrass yourself with every post.
