This time, the storyboard artist and unit director in question are Toshihiko Masuda and Hodaka Kuramoto, respectively. Not a whole lot I could really get from either in regards to what makes both staffers "stand out", though I did find it interesting how Masuda never really leaves an establishing shot as just that: he always has something happening during the shot to ready the viewer for what's within the next cut, be it a pan down or up to where the action is happening, characters visible within the shot, or a bit of dialogue played over a static shot before cutting in to reveal where it came from. That may prove useful in spicing things up in my visualization for jam #16. Quote
