SwimOdin Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Do you put on music when you clean? If so, what’s the song or genre? Ska for me, the high tempo keeps me moving. 1 Quote
André Toulon Posted May 12 Posted May 12 Just my normal background noise. I kinda like cleaning...just not folding clothes 1 Quote

katt_goddess Posted May 13 Posted May 13 I don't really do specific music for cleaning. If there's nothing on for general background noise, I might turn to the soundscapes channel on TV or a lofi channel on youtube just for something. Marathons of 'Hoarding: Buried Alive' playing in the background make me feel better about whatever stupid mess I'm fighting with though. I may have just dealt with an entire army of invasive cat toys the kitten has scattered around the room like land mines waiting for an unsuspecting foot to find them but at least I don't use a 5 gallon bucket in a hallway as a toilet. 2 Quote
Chappi Posted May 14 Posted May 14 I alternate between New Wave and Electronic music loud enough to hear from the other room 1 Quote
UwPp Posted May 14 Posted May 14 Well my current hyperfixation on doing anything has been watching Harry Potter marathons...this has been going on since October. But if it's music, its whatever song plays on my Spotify Playlist that has over like 96.5 hrs of music. 🤷♀️ 2 Quote

It's my new favorite way to consume the series, as nothing in the books is missed. I highly recommend it. It's actually a great thing to listen to while cleaning. Actually, I think boring mundane cleaning tasks are the best time to listen to audiobooks. 1 Quote

Mix Posted May 17 Posted May 17 I usually let the voices have their say while I'm cleaning. It's kind of Therapeutic. 1 Quote
