Save yourself time and don't watch it. It's slow paced, all over the place, has like 2 plots that they never tie together or clear up, the dinosaurs are weak sauce, one looks like the stomach bursting alien

I might still watch it whenever it’s free to stream, but I’m definitely not paying for it. The whole franchise should’ve died after maybe the third one. It’s just a cash cow these days.

I saw a trailer recently and thought about the same. The concept seemed like it could be interesting until I saw some of those new dinos you were talking about. I'm definitely not going out of my way to watch it.

I'll probably watch it out of a despicable need to satisfy my curiosity, but after falling asleep during Dominion in the theater, I'm not going to rush it.

The last couple seemed to want to try to do more with the philosophical question of cloning and gene editing beyond dinosaurs, and the practical implications of dinosaurs reintegrating into the global ecosystem, but was unwilling to follow through on either.

I haven't seen it yet but the new one is yet another soft reboot that re-restricts things to an island, and the only things I've really seen about it is that it doesn't actually follow through on the base promo concept of the trials and errors of cloning, and that it doesn't really have a raison d'etre beyond an excuse to adapt the raft scene from the original book (I think that was the last leftover setpiece from the original book).

Oh no.

There are about 3-5 scenes that are comical, the rest you're just kinda thinking "did an 8 year old write this?"

So, without spoilers ( they discuss it in the first 10 mins, or so) Basically dinosaurs have become old news and humanity no longer cares

The majority of them are dying off, except for around the equator, which is most similar climate to what the dinosaurs had in their time. No nation allows access to the equator for this reason. 

Except, two boats that have zero stealth have no issues sailing straight there :/

The JP is basically on the cusp of becoming the next Terminator, with each unsuccessful reboot followed by a worse reboot.

The trained velociraptors in Jurassic World made it pretty interesting.
