At the time, I thought the person was talking about plexiglass visors or maybe frozen water (if they were in some winter battlefield). discolé monade Posted June 9 Posted June 9 i want to comment about the marines being on standby. we were on 'high alert' during the l.a. riots. and even though, as military police, we got joint jurisdictional training (DoJ and local law agencies), we were not there to shoot anyone, arrest anyone, carry out any directive that dealt directly with civilians. we were road block only, and that was IF the national guard couldn't handle that task. the way i'm understanding it, is that the current standing orders do not reclect enforcing state law. 5 Quote
