Goblet of Fire was the worst Harry Potter movie, imo. The director of it didn't even read the book.

i don't even know where to put this, but this seems like a fine place for am anecdote that i refuse to give enough attention for a thread.

so i wake up, decide to see what time the birds play, so "falcons" is saved in my search bar.

I don't know the full story and dont care to because he hasn't been funny even a single time to me once he started doing NF specials...But he apparently has told a joke about his falcon killing a trans woman at one of his shows... Apparently, he told this joke in Saudi Arabia and they laughed so he confused as to why Americans are in a tizzy.

I love comedy, and I think comedy is one of the mediums where you can take iffy subjects and try for a laugh...the more controversial, the better. But i cant tell if this is lack of self awareness, or ego at this point.

Maybe don't circle back to trans jokes after you JUST got scorched for it a few years ago.  Its a terrible fkn look to do this shit back to back, especially when the current administration...while a bit quieter about it now....Has gone on a proverbial hunt for trans individuals, blaming them for shit I'm sure was orchestrated by conservatives.....but backing off the political element....I haven't even watched his last few specials just because the first one i saw was soooooo long and sooooo boring.  I was thinking I really hate to see him fall off like this, but then i realized....I just liked his CC show. A lot of his standup has always been hit or miss for me

This past year, I have learned to actively ignore certain situations and stop rumination when I notice it happening. Not gonna lie, my mental health has vastly improved. I wish I knew how to do this much earlier in my life. I think I'm gonna experience a vast amount of personal growth in 2026. The world may turn to shit, but I will persist.
