3 weeks until my birthday and Blink 182 and roller-coasters. 

Debating if I want to go see ADTR on the 10th and then the next day see Blink or just skip that concert.

Any time I’ve been unfortunate enough to ask for a favor, a more dignified thing a friend could say would be “fuck you. I’m not doing this.”

Makes me wish I could be that guy to accept an offer and repeatedly delay it to a day we both know won’t happen. But alas, I’m a man born with testicles + spinal cord, and can say “fuck you, no” the first time.

I recently started watching Demon Slayer for the first time, currently in the middle of the swordsmith village arc or whatever the hell they call it. I like it so far. Some thoughts:

Inosuke's voice would make so much more sense if he was actually a boar/human hybrid, rather than just a normal man who happens to wear a boar's head as a mask. As it stands, his voice makes no sense. I wonder how comparable the Japanese language voice is.

Early on in Zenitsu's introduction, he would frequently throw tantrums with insane exaggerated shrieks any metal vocalist would be jealous of. I miss those, they were very entertaining. It didn't take him long to mellow out some. I wonder if his mellowing was just the writers saving the VA's vocal cords. Again, I wonder if the Japanese language VA was as unhinged.

The arc with the demon train had a really cool metal OP, but the whole arc was only 7 episodes, so the OP lasted only 7 episodes before it changed to something completely different. Boo.

There is a lot of fan service in this show. It's kind of strange, as in my experience most anime with this much fan service kinda suck, but I'm enjoying the show so far. I was honestly surprised when they started sexualizing Nezuko, showing her cleavage. And as protective big brother as he is, I'm surprised Tanjiro has never tried to tell her to cover herself up.

Tanjiro needs to stop telling Nezuko to stay in her box at night when he's fighting demons. She's proven herself a powerful ally, not a damsel in distress.

Why the hell can't Nezuko talk? Every single other demon in the entire show talks, it makes no sense that she can't.

There is so much crying in this show. Men cry, women cry, children cry, demons cry, protagonists cry, villains cry . Not really a bad thing but I'm just not used to so much tears in any media.

In a scene where we see the lower ranked of the 12 of Muzan's minions in his lair, we see a shamisen player. Who is she? Is she a demon? Is she one of the lower ranks? Is she one of the higher ranks? I want to know more about this shamisen player.
