The entire time I lived with my parents, I just stayed in the room I grew up in. Why go to the basement when your room is already RIGHT THERE? I live in a 2 bedroom ranch. My gma is moving in with us because she's 93 and a fall risk. Can't have her going up and down the basement stairs. 🤷🏻♀️ 2 Quote

I mean, pretty soon, 80s babies are gonna be in there and I'm sure video games will be introduced into the community. Im might not have thought this completely through, but I dont see a down side as long as i dont actually "need" someone to wash my ass for me. My gma lived in a senior apartment housing. They had a wii bowling league. 1 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted April 9 Posted April 9 Funny how people who claim they’re here strictly to help me out can be such assholes about it. 1 Quote

Mode 7 Posted April 9 Posted April 9 I really hope that MeTv Toons creates a block for Hanna-Barbera superhero cartoons for shows like Space Ghost, Birdman, The Galaxy Trio, The Herculoids and Frankenstein Jr. and the Impossibles. 2 Quote
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted April 10 Posted April 10 I came from the gas station spending EXACTLY $18.00 (zero cents!). Whenever someone spends such a round number on gas, they do it on purpose. I just let my tank fill up. When the pump automatically stopped because the tank was full, my total was exactly 18 dollars and ZERO cents. 2 Quote
Insipid Posted April 10 Posted April 10 積ん読 tsundoku means books that pile up that you intend to read but never do. An interesting word unique to the Japanese language. Thank God I prefer ebooks; I have almost 600 titles, and yes, most of them aren't finished. 🙃 1 Quote

Mode 7 Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I've been binge watching the Smurfs all week and what's strange is that I've laughed more now watching this then I did when I was a kid. 2 Quote

Insipid Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I'm glad I subscribed to the New York Times. Decent quality journalism is a breath of fresh air. It isn't only targeted to boomers either, unlike most traditional media. Their subscribers are actually going up too. 1 Quote
[classic swim] Posted April 13 Posted April 13 I like when I can Skip and Main Menu the FBI warnings on DVDs because I paid for the fucking thing and it’s a pointless waste of time sitting through that shit. 1 Quote
The_annoying_one Posted Monday at 03:02 AM Posted Monday at 03:02 AM The fact that Apple TV only allows downloads to count on the device you used to download it and not the account it’s tied to is kind of bullshit. 3 Quote

Insipid Posted Wednesday at 02:34 PM Posted Wednesday at 02:34 PM (edited) Unsubbing from youtube channels has been my new hobby lately. I must have had over 1.5k subscriptions. I mindlessly hit that subscribe button way too manyntimes. Most were easy decisions to unsub, some required some thought, some made me nostalgic, some made me think what the hell was going through my mind at the time. This process of decluttering has made me reevaluate my internet habits, honestly. Edited Wednesday at 02:38 PM by Insipid 1 Quote

Mode 7 Posted 15 hours ago Posted 15 hours ago (edited) So let's get this straight, we're supposed to be closed on Sunday but you got a bunch of dumasses begging to work on Easter. A guaranteed day off on a Sunday. They asked me if I wanted to work and my answer was no. You want to work so bad go in the yard do some yardwork. Other than that sit your stupid ass down and shut the hell up. Good luck getting everyone to agree with come in a guaranteed day off. What's next you idiots want to work on Christmas Day too? Just fucking stupid. Edited 12 hours ago by Mode 7 2 Quote

Insipid Posted 12 hours ago Posted 12 hours ago I watched A Minecraft Movie. The plot was pretty stupid, but the vosuals were stunning, and fortunately I decided to watch it in 3D. Jack Black is kinda annoying, but I could never hate him. 1 Quote
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted 5 hours ago Posted 5 hours ago The fixation youtubers have on the new Snow White movie is kind of astonishing. The many angry frothing at the mouth reviews on youtube are the only reason I know this movie exists. Quote
Doom Metal Alchemist Posted 3 hours ago Posted 3 hours ago I always thought I hated gothic rock. I just watched a youtube video claiming that the first band ever to be labeled "gothic rock" was The Doors. I listen to mostly metal music. But The Doors are by far and away my favorite non metal band, and they have been since around 1999. So I love the granddaddy of granddaddy's of gothic rock, but I hate the rest of it? Gothic metal is another matter, I dig some gothic metal but gothic rock and gothic metal aren't related that much. Quote
