Unsubbing from youtube channels has been my new hobby lately. I must have had over 1.5k subscriptions. I mindlessly hit that subscribe button way too manyntimes. Most were easy decisions to unsub, some required some thought, some made me nostalgic, some made me think what the hell was going through my mind at the time. This process of decluttering has made me reevaluate my internet habits, honestly.

I watched A Minecraft Movie. The plot was pretty stupid, but the vosuals were stunning, and fortunately I decided to watch it in 3D. Jack Black is kinda annoying, but I could never hate him.

I always thought I hated gothic rock.

I just watched a youtube video claiming that the first band ever to be labeled "gothic rock" was The Doors.

I listen to mostly metal music. But The Doors are by far and away my favorite non metal band, and they have been since around 1999.

So I love the granddaddy of granddaddy's of gothic rock, but I hate the rest of it?

Gothic metal is another matter, I dig some gothic metal but gothic rock and gothic metal aren't related that much.
