discolé monade
some of the DC's are FINLLY putting in AC....( the one here is at any rate) for the automated employees... The installation process across these added sites will take an estimated minimum of eight years.
[classic swim]
Eight years willing to spend on that. Anything but actually making the store decent or sustainable to humans. The last time I shopped there was hell I’d wish on no one. Like there’s zero chance of you getting out of there alive. Fuck the idea of ever working for them.
1pooh4u
How about they pay their workers a living wage instead of slapping body cameras on them, putting them in a position to act like security. Fuckin hate everything about this

1pooh4u
“Relaxed consequences and laws” yeah well considering how the wealthy seem to skate IDRGAF who steals from the family that owns Walmart Target or any of those places

André Toulon
What is an employee cam gonna catch that ye hundreds of other cameras, including the one that's in you face at the self CO gonna catch. Just seems like added stress to being a regular employee. Are they gonna make those yellow vests mfers who just stand around wear one....they aren't ever really doing shit but standing in the way and never can help you due to somehow being busy
rpgamer
Seems strange to expect a walmart employee to give a shit about shoplifting. Can't imagine any of them are paid enough to care.
katt_goddess
If they are going to cam them up, they should allow them to use tasers on shoplifters too. It would make things much more entertaining for those of us that pay for our shit and give some of those people who have a full time job there but still need food stamps a very valuable means of releasing stress. Sees some dink with a purse full of stuff all puffed up screaming about 'What you gonna do? Can't touch me!' and then the bitzzzzzzzz of a taser going off.
stilgar
Yeah, these body cameras have nothing to do with stopping shop lifting and everything to do with controlling their peons. It's like when a walmart suddenly puts tons of new cameras up because an employee mentioned the word union. Also, the best way to fight shoplifting is for companies to pay their employees a living wage. That was people won't have to steal to live.

Plus, if you are crouched down in an aisle in Walmart, you might have a fart fetish anyway. That's about level with every scooter jockey in the place.

Can the employees switch that cam off? Do the cops have the same issue?
SwimOdin
Good news for piss-video enthusiasts, when employees inevitably forgot to turn off the camera.
