6 total.  Seated 4.  One settled right after being seated.  That one would have been horrible to sit through, one of the other jurors had a friend in the court & told him the case involved the homosexual rape of a mentally challenged minor by his partly mentally challenged adult brother.

Four times. I showed up once, but was never seated. The other two were settled out of court and the last one I was able to get out of due to having moved out of district.

I am in my mid 30's and have been summoned 4 times but I get out of it every time by either saying a variation of 'I always think the defendant is guilty' or 'I always believe what a cop says regardless of evidence' etc. during selection in my state. 

Of course I have to tailor these to the specific situation though ahah 

Never had federal yet, thank God!

I served on a grand jury panel despite having a JD and knowing one of the prosecutors

I actual don't mind being a juror.

4 + 1 Grand Jury.  Sat on 2.  Both Not Guilty.  Feels good, man.
