Italy has elected Giorgia Meloni as Prime Minister, the first female Prime Minister of Italy. She also seems to be a fascist.

Here is a decent primer on Meloni and her ties to essentially the descendent parties of the Italian Fascist Party.

And you bet your ass, MAGA Republicans are celebrating this and the recent far right wins in Sweden. They want the US to be next.
