So, Tesla is going to charge $99/yr after year 8 for navigation. Most auto manufacturers charge between $250-$500 for navigation updates/yr so I'm not exactly sure why $99 is such an outrage.

 

Besides, by year 8 you are probably going to be $15k into the car for a new battery.

It's not a lot.... Unless you already overpaid for a shitty electric car.

As if a self-driving suicide car that turns into a brick the moment the battery dies or the moment you can’t get out of theater mode wasn’t enough of a reason to avoid Tesla’s.

I never really wanted one until you explained it this way… specifically the first part….

I don't even know who to pay if my GPS stops working. The Ford just had it when I got it....the navi came with a system that doesn't work, but it just seems to be broken, not really off due to nonpayment
