scoobdog
Well, that's one way to piss off your loyal customers.
Ginguy
So, Tesla is going to charge $99/yr after year 8 for navigation. Most auto manufacturers charge between $250-$500 for navigation updates/yr so I'm not exactly sure why $99 is such an outrage. Besides, by year 8 you are probably going to be $15k into the car for a new battery.

Doom Metal Alchemist
My stand-alone Garmin doesn't require any subscription. That's so fucked up. Just add what you would want to make from those subscriptions into the cost of the car so buyers only have to pay for it once for a lifetime. So completely fucked up.
Chapinator_X
As if a self-driving suicide car that turns into a brick the moment the battery dies or the moment you can’t get out of theater mode wasn’t enough of a reason to avoid Tesla’s. 1

I never really wanted one until you explained it this way… specifically the first part….
André Toulon
I don't even know who to pay if my GPS stops working. The Ford just had it when I got it....the navi came with a system that doesn't work, but it just seems to be broken, not really off due to nonpayment Edited July 28, 2022 by André Toulon
Sieg67
Are they not aware that anybody with a Smart Phone already has GPS? 2

The people who would buy a Tesla are the kind of idiots who will need to pay for every bell and whistle or they will feel like they are missing out.
