I suppose I could order my music online or go full on digital but love actually going to the store and browsing for things and socializing other classic rock fans. I hope that these places don't end closing down because of corona because I just want to get one last haul in this year.

I just went yesterday and bought a shit ton of CDs. Spent like $130 and all of the CDs I bought were used.

What sucks is that they're only open four days a week now. I'm trying to change my schedule at work so my band can practice more, but if I get the schedule I want that's best for my band, the record store is only open on all the days I would be working so I wouldn't be able to go at all. :S

Here in Portland, Oregon, those places will not be closing down. They'll get too much support. Some of them didn't even close.

My Dad sold some of his records to a record store that opened last year.

As an added bonus, I know they're still around because the local alt-monthly did a story about them in this month's issue.

Kinda miss digging through thrift stores. There’s a lot of ancient records, but sometimes I’ve found some good records like The Beach Boys’ “Pet Sounds” or classic R&B.

I miss shopping for clothes in person. I don't get how ppl can just buy shit online and send it back if they dont like how it fits. A process that takes 5 minutes to do in the store is drawn out for days plus the carbon footprint
