So not only is Sho's ability ridiculous and fantastical with a bullshit explanation, with more bullshit piled on for Shinra to gain an ability to get on equal footing, but this is way too much escalation way too soon.  This leap in ability shouldn't have come til way later.  How can any of the other characters do anything against these two now if Sho can stop time and Shinra can teleport?

I'm thinking the inclusion of the term "Link" in this higher stuff (first we had Adola Burst, now Adola Link) they're accessing is important to restricting it.

The time thing might be a speed reference like in Star Trek with the slingshot around the sun thing.

Right but I don't see how it could be restricted.

It was "explained" as Sho slowing the expansion of the universe or some such nonsense.  It would give Senku an aneurysm.

This feels like a line funimation added to insert their politics into a series. Japan has lots of earthquakes, frackking isn't very common out there either.

But in this show it's the work of the Evangelists.

... oh look we get our first glimpse of another Company THE NEXT TO LAST EPISODE OF THE SEASON!!

Uhh, that was a joke.  No one said it in the show.

Anime is becoming SUPER political the last 5 years or so and it's making alt-right anime fans angry
