got a little bit of a buzz on trying out a couple new beers we got in today. sipping on a lindeman's framboise right now. if i can keep the wife interested for long enough, we're gonna try a new belgium blackberry felix next. also drank a 4yo black butte birthday reserve earlier while we bottled up a brown ale.

the framboise was pricey...i think it was like $109 for a dozen 750ml bottles. but it's soooo worth it. i've really been digging on the belgians and lambics lately, and this is right at the top.

got a case of founders CBS coming in tomorrow...that's the one that has me really excited this week.

lambics are "wild" fermentation belgian ales that are only made in this one little valley in belgium. framboise lambics are wild fermented with raspberries. fucking delicious. it's like fancy wine, but still beer so, y'know, manly and stuff.
