Also we're bringing our kitties to the new house today don't want to stress them out too much. They'll probably freak enough being in a new place AND seeing a new kitty outside.

We were wondering if it could be a neighbor's but it came back this morning so it could be. If it keeps hanging around we'll probably ask some neighbors if they know whose it is.

hes probably microchipped. whats so hard about taking him to the shelter. you have a kitty carrier, right?

someone took my microchipped kitty to the shelter when he got lost... i never saw him again but still

I've known two neighbor cats who like to come into my apartments. One here. One in santa barbara. I'd let them in to sniff around, but not for too long since they're someone else's and I'm allergic.

Does your neighborhood or town have a facebook page? You could post that pic there as well as ask around.  People should REALLY put collars on their pets.

Break-Away Collar. I'm glad I got my cat a break-away collar because she came in one evening with a chunk taken out of her neck and her ear split in two and I just know that she'd be dead if whatever had gotten her hadbeen able to take hold of her collar
