Trader Joe's vs Whole Foods

Trader Joe's, as it actually can be reasonably priced while still be good quality and organic. It has some quirky items too. I've been disappointed every time I go to Whole Foods. Overpriced bullshit. Even if I were rich I wouldn't shop there.

I have been to neither. But I have been to Fresh Market. They have some nice things.

It's more upscale items. No cheap shit.

Never heard of it until now. There's only one in my metro, and it's in one of the nicest suburbs. Go figure.

Yep. We had one in our neighborhood when we lived in Savannah. We used to go there sometimes. Their cheese is to die for.

Whole Foods was so disappointing when I first went there. The produce was so-so, their pantry selection was no better than regular stores, that overpriced food bar was mediocre as fuck, and the only thing above average was their meat variety.

The first time I went to Trader Joe's, my ass had to be practically dragged out of that store just because of their darn frozen food section.

Fresh Market is superior in quality and price to both of those two in OP.

and you know what's superior to both of those? just buying regular goddamn, who gives a fuck, food. i went to Fresh market once and it was very expensive. Trader Joe's i like, but is way too far from me. i almost never see anyone in the whole foods that's right by me so i have no idea how they stay open when we literally have three other cheaper groceries stores almost right next door to it

I'm a cheap bitch; I shop for groceries mainly at Walmart, Aldi, Trader Joe's, and some Asian stores. I save the food splurging for eating out.

You think everything is too expensive.

same here. i don't go to aldi though. yeah it's one of the ones right next door to my house and its cheaper than walmart but i just don't like their quality. i usually just go to walmart which is 10 minutes away. if i forget something, i'll just go to one of the assorted stores that are basically within walking distance

Fun fact I just learned: Trader Joe's is owned by Aldi. The more you know . . .

Trader Joe’s is more reliable for everyday food. Other than a few niche things, Whole Foods is somewhere I go if I can’t find something anywhere else. For some reason, the beer at Whole Foods is cheaper than other nearby grocery stores.

I would rather die young from cardiac arrest or slow poisoning from all the God-knows-what that's in processed food, than live to be an old person and spend those years researching where the fuck my chicken lived before it ended up on my plate.
