When you eat the meal you cooked for your family

and then have to quickly cook another one before they get home.....you start to question how far you've taken this weight gain thing

I ate a lot at 160lbs , but it's ridiculous now at 200 lbs.....I'm constantly cooking and pre-prepping meals

It was worth it for a while there, but i'm very much turning the corner on this....

What are your body goals and how have you suffered for them?

Oh man, I am too old to have body goals. I eat whatever I want.

I love food, and I'm only alive once. 

That being said, we don't eat fast food, or even eat out much. We like to cook, and we cook a lot. I think I am getting a little hungry now.

I used to be in great shape. I worked out. I exercised. I ate well. Drank lots of water and grapefruit juice. I ran a couple of miles a day. Lots of salads. I have been off that wagon a long time.

But the way my body works, I have to eat a ton to put on muscle or i'll just burn it all away when I work out....

Still trying to figure out this meat bag I inhabit. I weigh so much more than I look and have a lot of muscle but I haven't worked out in years. There's a bit of fat on top I'd like to get rid of but otherwise I'm apparently secretly a tank.

Honestly my only physical goal is to deadlift 700 pounds. I've already hit 600 so I'm just trying to gain enough weight to pull my goal. I currently weigh 200 pounds. I would need to gain about 15 pounds. So I said all that shit to say my goal is to gain 15 stupid fucking pounds FUCK! The only suffering aspect is that food is ridiculously expensive. I eat a shit ton.

omg, it's so expensive....well the meat and the supplements....vegetables are dirt cheap

You save a lot by making your own meals, but the expense is still hella annoying

I think we had a miscommunication somewhere because I just hit 160

My goal was to lose weight so I can stay out of a wheelchair and wear pretty clothes again(cute big women clothing stores are scarce as fuck). Due to my shitty nervous system, every day is very painful. I can actually feel the fat breaking down, and I'm going through three times as many pain relievers. I've gotten used to the pain and what's the most annoying is that I want some fucking ice cream tonight, but I can tell there's more fat burning in my legs. So that means being good by exercising my legs tonight and no creamy coffee, chocolatey goodness. There's hot fudge in the fridge too. FUUUUUCCCKK.

This type of journey is very difficult. Way harder than what i'm trying to do. That's why i'm always impressed with people that pull it off.

Whoa, dude. Black Rambo is way too intense for me. For motivation, I do things like buying clothes that are too small but are a realistic future size for me. So it was either be a dumbass with a bunch of pretty clothes that don't fit, or lose the weight. It feels really good when more of the new stuff fits me because of the achievement boost and knowing money didn't get wasted on clothes that would eventually become too big.

Oh yeah, he's nuts.....his life story fascinates me.....but i'm not saying you should do what he does....it just makes what i'm doing seem easier by comparison when he runs a 100 mile marathon or does 3,202 pull ups (world record at the time)....I just like thinking, "well, at least I don't have to do that shit"
