Take ten minutes and force yourself to think ONLY of all the things you are grateful for. Focus on why you're lucky for those things. Make as long a list of things as you can.

Do this at least once a day. The more often you can, the better.

Take time to love yourself. I do NOT mean masturbation (but you're free to include that). I mean, talk to yourself. Focus on things about yourself that you like/love. Treat yourself as if you were someone you loved. What advice would you give yourself as a loved one? What nice things would you do for that person?

Do not expect to be convinced right away. It takes time. You may have to pretend, but eventually you'll really begin to feel this way. You'll naturally start to be more grateful for what you have and will naturally try to give yourself the love you deserve. You gotta keep at it though. Your brain will take time to learn these new thought patterns.

In all seriousness, this.

Also, buy yourself a balloon. Balloons make (almost) everyone happy.
