But, can it erase tobacco smoke odor?

Okay I have to say this: Yes.

A few years back a couple residents had moved out of a 2 bedroom. They lived in it since it was built, 13 years. White walls, white floors, grey carpets, white cabinets, white counters, white appliances.... 13 years of three people just SMOKING and never opening windows. It took 3 coats of Kilz to block out the yellow. ANYWAY. I took a couple Magic Erasers to the fridge just to see how they'd do... my boss got mad at me because he thought I swapped out the fridge for a new one. his intent was to put a set of doors off of a cleaner fridge on it and paint the rest of it.

A thirteen year old fridge isn't worth keeping, clean or not.  Real energy wasters.  Since I got this new fridge, the electric company has stated that I use forty percent less power than homes that it had previously rated as "highly efficient".  That, compared to my having been rated as one of the least efficient users prior to this new fridge.

So, you admit to having nothing.  Check.

Electric efficiency is easy when you have one room

It's not a studio.  It's two bedrooms, a sit in kitchen, a living room, seven closets, a foyer and of course, the bathroom.

I've heard you brag on these closets before....I'm wondering if you don't consider your cabinets closets.

How is a new fridge "nothing"?

If you could just get the guy at the wood shop to make your brushless generator, you'ld be living off the grid.

Because  necessary household appliances are literally nothing in the grand scheme of extravagance.

Tell that to a guy who lives in a rooming house without access to a refrigerator.

And people who live in 6,000 square foot McMansions that have  walk-in valet closets.

Someone who lives alone in a 2-bedroom home.

Why not?  You're saying I'm not supposed to have a lot of clothes or personal possessions?

Not so much "not supposed to have" and more "why in god's name would you have?"

When your life is empty you fill it up with things, things that are trash.

Remember that antique ash tray or whatever. Yeah. Shit like that

I acquire things that I like.  I like vintage artifacts.  I like things that make music sound good.  I like selecting from fifty shirts to wear.   I even like my carrot juice maker.  I like my 120vac back up battery.  The Chinese palace lamp, the hand woven Mexican blanket, the Miracord turntable, the the 200 volume anime collection, the six speaker surround sound home theater...

Stuff stuff stuff.

I don't owe a cent on any of it.

The value is what I assign to it.

Let's start with the surround sound system... what makes it "garbage", in your opinion?

Im assuming you mean the thing you hooked up to a 1970s floor model?.....Yeah, speaks for itself unless you bought some new shit and are ready to abandon your original point from like 2 years ago.

The item you're talking about isn't connected to the TV anymore.  It's best for Bluetooth stereo because of its 20 hz bass response.

The surround sound system is a Sony model STR-DH550.  It's best for movies and certain TV shows because the multiple channels mimic what I would hear at a theater.

It doesn't actually clean anything, it's an abrasive, it scrubs stuff off.

Edit: not to say it isn't a very useful tool to have.

You need seven closets for... that?

I'm starting to think "closet" means "cavity under the floor."

The complete inventory would fill an eighteen wheeler.
