What even is anything? What is nothing? I forgot what I was saying.

Nothing is simply the set of all things not contained within the set of "Everything". Anything is a bit more tricky; it's commonly thought to be an arbitrary element from an arbitrary set, but We think more likely that it is not a thing at all, but rather a place holder used to convey the idea of a thing that fits certain criteria, typically determined by the context it is used in. For example: it probably wasn't anything important.

It's strange how so many of these commonly used qualifiers are actually so complex when you break them down. Words like "the" have huge paragraphs defining them in the dictionary.
