our school was small. so small, in fact, that anyone who wanted to be a cheerleader was automatically on the squad. no tryouts, not standards. just a bunch of non-athletic high school girls all trying to be at the top of the pyramid.

>:D

i only joined jr high. which was at the high school (7-12). but only because i didn't make the basketball team in 7th grade. and pop insisted i do something off season. -_-

i played basketball from jr-high thru high school, again, because the school was small and anyone who wanted to play, got to. golf too, in hs. and band and chrous for a couple years, just for kicks. and i wonder why people thought i was a nerd back then (and still do today).

oh ..i was in chorus one year, then band.

but i HAD to join sports. cross country, basketball. i was the only JV that made varsity in 9th grade.

pops had impossible standards to live up to.

i was never that good any any of it, but the more school stuff i did, the better it looked on those college apps. turns out that was not a wasted effort, awesome. also, if i wasn't in practice before and after school, i had to milk cows on the family dairy farm. plus plus.

yeah. i know what you mean. also, i too lived on a farm...of sorts. we had chickens. a  shit ton every year. we had a cow couple goats, couple horses.  pigs every year.

nothing big. just enough to supply the family. so yeah...on top of all the after school shit...had to come home and do all the chores.

i didn't mind the after school chores so much. got to take the 4-wheeler out into the woods to round up the cows and bring them back to the barn, so that was nice. but not at 5am, getting fucking soaked from the dew or freezing the asshole right off in the cold months. most everything else i did was inside the barns for daily chores, and it wasn't bad. getting kicked / pinned / stepped on by the cows was less than fun though.

My chicken was plenty funky, but I didn't think my goose was loose enough or coordinated enough to be doing flips. Playing clarinet in band from middle school to most of high school with art club on the side was more suited to my clumsy self.

i don't know. i posted this on the book of faces a few weeks ago. but this is some funny stuff. Mix[/member] good call.

here's another one by the Ozzy man....I'll let you decide if her goose is loose or not
