fuggnificent Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 Yah oj is really expensive every restaurant you go to. You can buy a whole carton for $4.
Naraku4656 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 i haven't gone out for breakfast in a long time so i didn't really think of checking. next time i will
1938 Packard Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 jesus christ, i should have gotten water there. $4 for one small glass and i didn't even realize it until i got the bill Yup... if the government continues its course of artificially raising wages, you'll eventually end up seeing $39.95 for a glass of water and then orange juice would only be on the menu at the most exclusive, high end restaurants. Of course, they could go in another direction and shrink the portions... three bites and two sips... all gone.
Chapinator_X Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 It would cost less to bring a whole carton of store-bought OJ to the table
Naraku4656 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 It would cost less to bring a whole carton of store-bought OJ to the table i was actually pissed too. i know i should have checked and i was an idiot not to but FOUR DOLLARS for a glass of OJ
1938 Packard Posted June 25, 2017 Posted June 25, 2017 i was actually pissed too. i know i should have checked and i was an idiot not to but FOUR DOLLARS for a glass of OJ I'd wager that it wasn't even the good stuff... just frozen concentrate. The health club here at the casino used to give away free glasses of non concentrated orange juice, but that was more than ten years ago. Now, you only get complimentary bottled water when you pay for the premium services. OJ is no longer on the menu. You have to pay the growers, pickers and packers. You have to pay the truckers. You have to pay the people who run the machines to squash it into juice, then pay more packers and truckers, then you have to pay the waiter, the busboy, the dishwasher and even the guy who cleans the restroom before you can have OJ served to you at a restaurant. Keep raising those wages by government mandate, folks.
Naraku4656 Posted June 25, 2017 Author Posted June 25, 2017 well i saw that it was Florida Natural because i saw her take it out of the fridge. i didn't really care at first, until i saw the price

Ginguy Posted June 26, 2017 Posted June 26, 2017 What a rip, then again I got charged two buck for ice at a local steak house when I ordered some Bombay sapphire on the rocks. Places will charge what they think they can get away with.
