My neighbor made me dinner tonight, which automatically makes it taste better. It was summer squash soup and tuna salad sandwich =)
-
Not yet! I thought about it last night though. I still have to figure out how I'm going to watch it.

It's Summer, so naturally this thought came to mind.

Although there was also the "taint"...which manipulated biomass, which is insane. So Time Lords might not be in the clear after all. -

Well, now the Time Lords aren't human. There's no telling what sort of effect being turned by vampires would do to them. Presumably they can't be turned into vampires as they apparently fought Great Vampires in a long drawn out war which resulted in a large amount of deaths on both sides, but no mention of anybody being turned. Unless some were and were then also exterminated by their own kind. Werewolves on the other hand...the Gallifrey created a species of werewolves which were Gallifreyan...soooooo... That's all I've got on that. -

Because they're dead (undead). But then why need the blood at all? What does the blood actually do...if it sustains them in some way then it effects them in some way. I get that there are diseases that animals get that are noninfectious to humans and vise versa, but lycanthropy is infectious to humans which vampires once were. (when fuel goes bad you replace it) Being susceptible to viruses wouldn't be problematic with their regenerative properties, it'd be like eating a bad batch of something that stays in your system until your body expels it, so it'd be temporary. -
You're the idiot that everybody listens to?

Ask InsaneFox, they know what their strong suit is. I just meant that if they're skillful then they're likely above average, but because of their social status nobody pays them any attention, I was picturing in a comical way. Like people around them doing stupid things and InsaneFox standing there with this look, "I told you that from the beginning, why do I bother talking to you people..." type of thing. Although now I'm getting an image of Jesus as a little kid and his father standing over him shaking his head with that look on his face because you said 'wood working'...and also because I read "Lamb: The Gospel according to Biff." Not the renaissance, I know.

I was thinking along the lines of, if lycanthropy alters the blood and vampires require blood to sustain themselves then it's possible that their blood could either be infected or that they could ingest infected blood that would temporarily alter their chemical makeup. Seems like it would be temporary for a vampire, but it would be permanent for a werewolf if they were turned undead. But then there's the old fashioned lycanthropes and vampires who, like Lynnrael said, are afflicted by a curse...in which case...why couldn't a vampire be cursed too? Does one curse negate the other? If they can turn into fricken bats...why not wolves? -
I gotsta know!!!

Maybe if you were in France instead.

Well shit then Aaaaaaaand the Viking Age makes its way into this thread too. My guess with the T and thunder gods is actually the 'Th' and thunder gods. The codex runicus (runes) is one of the oldest alphabets with the third rune (þ) giving a "th" sound. The rune þ is pronounce "thorn", which was the Old Norse word for Thunder/Thor. Considering how far the Norse traveled and that the codex runicus was used throughout Britain, Ireland and Scandinavia as late as the 18th century I'd say their word for thunder had some sort of influence. The "th" was lost in antiquity (thorn became torden in Scandinavia and tonitrus in Rome) and runes were done away with almost entirely in the late 15th century when most of Europe adopted the roman alphabet. HOWEVER the anglo-saxons brought it back at some point...which is how we have Thursday.

Well...let's hope it wasn't Taranis...Celtic sacrifices were a bit gruesome.

Calm down, it's almost raspberry season here. I'll give them my first harvest...maybe I'll even make a statue of a ram out of the ramble to burn with the berries...which won't be easy because of the massive amount of thorns but will probably look cool with it's red coloring.

You didn't watch the video, did you. It looks like the people got out safely but the inside of the car became ingulfed with flames. I've been very close in proximity to lighting making contact twice now. Once on a bridge, which nearly made me shit my pants and once in a cabin on a lake. Pretty sure Thor or Taranis is hunting me down.
