But she didn't have sex: she was essentially raped. The disgusting thing about her testimony is that everything the defense attorney has been attacking her on - that she accepted money to stay silent, that she used sex as a tool to make money, that she was more than willing to trade insults with him, etc. - skirts the fact that he clearly lied about his intent to have dinner with her and that he used the differential in power to force her to refuse sex on his terms and, ultimately, led to her having sex with him just to escape the situation. There are elements of crude grooming and bullying that can't be explained away by the defense. I know you know all of that; I just can't wrap my head around the fact that she's basically saying she was forced to have sex with a man and the defense is still allowed to attack her on the periphery of the event.

That's an interesting article because it adds a layer to Donald Trump's pathos. He no doubt believes that those around him will try to take advantage of him like he did his father when he was declining, and that may inform the rationale behind his relentless perchance for denying even the most obvious of things. He also no doubt knows that Alzheimer's will almost certainly afflict him, if it hasn't already, and his illogical attacks on his opponent can change the narrative on the disease.

She's already on thin ice for her mishandling of the evidentiary hearings and the jury instructions. This might be enough to for the SDoF to reassign her case, though it still won't be much help for timing in the unlikely even it happens.

I just placed and order for my college transcripts

I would imaging a lot of the students of defunct for-profit schools have lost their transcripts for good. Transferring records would be an arduous process even for the smallest of trade schools. -
planning a family vacation for 7 people is hard

I've lived about 7 miles from the beach, and I've never had the urge to go either. Having beach weather is awesome. Actually being at the crowded beach, no so much. -

Sorry, the context there was that it wouldn’t be part of a government record because it’s a university service, as evidenced by the fact they charge for it. For a multitude of reasons, most universities would be loathe to share information with the government outside of what would be required for a loan. The only way it would be is if the university goes defunct and at least some of the records are transferred to the DoE for criminal or loan forgiveness purposes or if you are required to provide proof of education to a government agency. Chances are if you paid off your education and loans, the government won’t have your records, -
Margarita I made in the ice cream machine. Oh and home made steak fajitas.

I don’t think that’s usually the case. I had to pay a relatively small fee to access my transcripts at a private university, but I would assume it’s the same for a public university. The only thing that may be publicly accessible is whether or not you’re a degree holder, and that would be presumably because a degree might be a requirement for employment or certification/licensing. It would also be through your university and not the government. -

Hopefully that was just your undergrad. -
I think there probably are quite a few sincere holocaust deniers, if only because psychosis makes denial possible without altering the core bigotry. It’s important to remember that antisemitism is like any other form of racism: it’s not primarily an overt bias - it expresses itself in biased framing of mundane or readily observable behavior. When an antisemite experiences psychosis, they can fully believe that the genocide of Jewish people is a lie without first having an irrational hate for them. That’s because the underlying attitude that Jews are angry and overreact is readily portrayed through the narrow prism of journalism, without any express commentary, and can be rationalized. Bigotry always disguises itself respectability.

$1,700 doesn’t seem bad to me, at least not for new instrument, but that wouldn’t include the amp. What’s one of those going to run?

You're not going to get a shitty guitar like that from BMG or Gibson. When you're guitar shopping, what features do you look for and why?
-
Playing a guitar isn't like playing a trumpet, so it's hard to gauge. The workmanship on a trumpet matters greatly, but not if you're a shitty trumpet player to begin with. I would imagine that the guitar matters less to sound at the upper level of guitar musicianship, aside from the various electrical components.
-
So there's no sound penalty?

What would be the primary difference between a Professional and a Studio model? My experience is with brass and the differences are easy to identify because the difference in price between a professional and an intermediate model comes down almost entirely to workmanship.
-
Well, not his actual custom instrument. It's the design he came up with his dad originally because he couldn't afford the commercially available instruments at the time.
-
For the record and since absolutely no one asked.... it looks like new Les Pauls are roughly the same price as a professional level wind instrument (in the $2-3k range) while the Red Special is in line with most intermediate level wind instruments (around $1k). That's neither here nor there, of course, but you would naturally compare each instrument to others in the same price range as a starting point.

I think those are Brian May Guitars, so it's the custom he built for himself originally.

Happy Birthday!

That’s a really stupid question by the way.
