I think the discussion is yet another gateway into Lady MacBething Jill Biden. If he was ill, then someone had to know about it and lied to us about it, and Jill Is an easy target because she's a woman.

A year on, I doubt he was ill with cancer when he was running for reelection.

So, is the SCOTUS Looking to Destroy the Country….

It isn't an abortion. The hospital's administrators are simply being cowardly and justifying a decision to rack up a huge bill on a grieving family. -

It’s worth noting that this being compared to the Salon Meritage shooting in Seal Beach 14 years ago. I can’t imagine blowing up a fertility being much of a political statement, but I can imagine a million reasons somoene might have a personal grudge. -
I think the distinction is that the immunity applies only to him, not his subordinates. He can order whatever he wants and get away with it, but his lackeys would still get prosecuted because the order itself isn’t lawful. January 6 is an example of that.

Bet he’s glad he spoke up about Hillary right about now.

They can live with the hypocrisy as long as the net result is there’s no people of color living in their America.

He knows she doesn't have a shot at being governor. He just keeps on shovelling dirt on her political career. -

He sounds like a choice that is hedging bets across the Americas. The LGBTQIA+ thing is very important, but there isn’t much more a pope can do on that front then Francis has already started just because of the immense headwinds from conservatives. The most we can hope for is that he leaves Francis’ directives alone. His more immediate problems are wrapping up the pedophile priest scandal and attacking the burgeoning financial crisis within the Vatican. -

No. It is an independent country, but there isn't a passport control to get into the Vatican. Ostensibly, there isn't any place in particular to stay or work for casual visitors; you would only be stopping people from coming to see (and pay for) the Vatican's museums or the St. Peter's basilica. I also believe you do not need a separate passport to see San Marino, also an independent state inside of Italy. -
It’s got everything and a crack pipe. Happy Birthday, dude.

JPII was a heavily mystic pope, thanks to Fatima, and part of the reason John XXIII moved to the vernacular liturgy was the opposite of mysticism, accessibility. That dynamic has pulled the Church in two directions since the first part of the last century. -

I believe what Pooh is referring to is the fact that successive popes have both further restricted when the latin mass can be used and replaced some parts of the vernacular liturgy that still used Latin. It's mostly been since Benedict that a lot of the latter reforms have been made in various increments.
