    strangely nickelodeon will be airing new content on christmas so they clearly don't think people will be too busy to watch the network

    so someone on discord noticed how there wasn't a promo for the next episode(which is something they usually do even after they are about to start some marathons) not sure if they are gonna save it for The FLCL Marathon because they don't wanna play the same promo for several weeks or if they are simply scrapping the promo's already

    i would have regretted it if i had decided to hold off on watching spy x family or chainsaw man in hopes that the block would air them....because chances are they wouldn't or at least not anytime soon so many shows I'm watching right now on cr i just can't see coming to the block and i know I'd likely never get to watch them if i simply waited around for Gill Austin And His Crew to notice them spy x family chainsaw man welcome to demon school iruma-kun beast tamer I'm The Villainess So I'm Taming The Final Boss blue locke

    feels like it's been awhile since a crunchyroll commercial aired on television though and not just one for a movie they are distributing...but for the service itself

    Not sure if I'd blame the lack of a promo on [AS] Being cheap though it seems to be more than just that...otherwise we wouldn't have had one for the previous episode

    That post said nothing about midnight it simply implied that christmas is always a dead day on television and i was just stating that nickelodeon at the very least doesn't think so because they are deciding to air new content on christmas instead of just airing something like despicable me all day long

    Too bad MHA S6 had to debut this month for toonami....feels awkward only getting to air three episodes before a three week holiday break 😔

    Jason Demarco said Gill Austin And His Crew are the ones running the block currently he also implied they were short staffed so things were operating a lot slower than usual

    I'm disappointed it wasn't a one piece marathon(seriously that series has only had one marathon and it was a crappy post ennies lobby marathon with goofing around episodes) regardless I've had to accept that crunchyroll will be where i mainly watch anime.....because holidays don't dictate what i can and can't watch(Been watching MHA S6 and i couldn't imagine pausing for three weeks after the first three episodes)

    Yeah....Not liking this decision so far one episode per week isn't enough

    Because "Christmas" that's it....they probably think that gives them an excuse to get weird with the schedule and nobody will notice because nobody's watching however somebody will be watching because contrary to popular belief not everyone goes to christmas parties and not everyone has a family gathering like you see on those cheesy holiday movies some people just don't have anything better to do and so those are the ones who will notice the strange schedule

    I Think they are going with the assumption that "Nobody watches TV On Christmas Eve" so that gives them an excuse to cut down toonami's time that night I've seen that message stated by other people before regarding weird marathon decisions "Who cares? nobody watches the block on holidays anyways" But I'll be watching crunchyroll on that day/night because i don't have a huge family gathering to attend nor do i live in some big city with elaborate christmas celebrations so what else am i to do except watch anime and maybe play video games?

    seems like convention appearances for toonami aren't really something they are thinking about anymore

    someone came up with a theory as to how toonami got MHA S6 the theory was that maybe sony realized they couldn't reach more people with the current approach....otherwise it wouldn't be on toonami the block doesn't have the funds to just pay whatever price sony wants

    so turns out toonami really can't afford to promote more than one show weekly there was no promo for the next episode but we did get one for MHA S6 Episode 2

    I Doubt there will be any "Gill Austin is Killing Toonami Memes" since he doesn't really have much of a social media presence to speak of(Something Demarco Praises Him for)and because of that he's a man whose opinions are unknown unlike Jason Demarco so you can't make any jokes about him either....You'd need actual material for that which there is none to speak of not gonna have somebody with A Gill Austin Avatar with the entire online persona being that they cry about Gill all day everyday so what i see happening is Demarco continues to be the guy people like Toonamifan yell at because the real head of the toonami table cannot be reached online

    I'd have no brains if i did think that because that would require me forgetting made in abyss exists and had it's second season debut on the block no what I'm saying is that it's weird toonami wouldn't look at sentai again or viz for the lead spot but instead approach the company Jason Demarco has vented about in the past and several months ago tweeted about how unlikely it was that anything sony owned would air on the block moving forward(he did say never say never but overall he didn't seem all that confident in Sony cooperating)
