already i can tell losing an episode of one piece sucks...the pacing at one episode per week is garbage

the fan theory going around as to why one piece got dropped from 2 episodes per week to 1 is that something came up and this is just toonami trying to make one piece last longer on the block

what's the point of having one piece on the block at this point if they are just gonna cut it down from 2 to 1 episode per week? the pacing's already shitty but at one episode per week it's like there isn't even a show in that time slot it's so slow

I've been watching MHA S6 on Crunchyroll so it not being here tonight doesn't bother me as much as MHA Reruns leading the block does...

i don't have hulu or hidive so i couldn't watch the movie legally and i didn't feel like going to one of these sketchy sites just to watch it..... can't imagine how many people are gonna be turned off by the second season due to most of them not even knowing about dawn of the deep soul

and because the movie is required to watch....You Gotta have Hulu or Hidive to see it although i doubt Toonami's gonna tell the average viewer where to find the movie or that a movie's even required to enjoy S2 so most people are gonna be confused and just stop watching completely

i do wonder why they didn't state those reruns were temporary...

i have crunchyroll for anime but i watch toonami also out of nostalgia but it's getting hard because it seems like there's less and less for me to watch and the atmosphere is what makes toonami for me but lately that atmosphere has been lackluster....music videos are rare and so are video game reviews these days don't get much in the way of actual Tom/Sara Banter and the bumpers have gotten really repetitive

I'm bummed about this new schedule but at the same time....it's really feeling like if you wanna watch toonami you are better off making your own toonami lineup with streaming services since staying up every saturday night just for MIA S2 and Yashahime(in terms of new content)might not seem worth it

why do you think Jason Demarco said more announcements are coming...saying soon hopefully makes it seem like they are working on acquiring something but as you said the MHA S5 rerun upfront doesn't make sense for that

seems like it....probably got a lot of people tweeting at him about the MHA S5 rerun asking if it was a typo that combined with questions about dawn of the deep soul probably annoyed him enough to say "Look we aren't allowed to have it okay?...sorry"

which makes the fact that demarco hyped up upcoming announcements odd(coming soon...hopefully he states) are they seriously gonna announce shows coming next year? they've already announced the originals on board...so it would have to be acquired content announcements and there's just nothing concluding anytime soon to insert something new in unless The MHA S5 Rerun is only for a few weeks(not holding my breath on that)

I Imagine most people aren't gonna do that and will just dip once they stop understanding what's happening in MIA S2

if i recall S5 had quite a good number of criticism's thrown it's way due to the joint training story and how they rearranged the next two stories nobody seemed to be in any hurry to revisit S5...

that doesn't explain why they don't wanna get anything from sentai except MIA S2.... what i find odd is unlike last year where demarco straight up admitted there was nothing and they had to stall to get into the new year for more content it's just...radio silence on that front now with fans speculating like crazy on if there's anything to look forward to at all Made In Abyss S2 isn't a show that can carry the block by itself(especially without the movie to tell the average viewer about things that would confuse them otherwise)and MHA S5 reruns aren't gonna do what a lead show is suppose to do...lead people to the block tell me why would reruns of S5 attract people to toonami?

it really feels like they could only afford 1 new show and that was MIA S2.... Demarco only clarified that MHA will be S5 reruns and that's not a typo so i can only assume they ran out of money to acquire more than one new show at this point

the first episode of season 1 part 2(english dub)came out and with no prior announcement made by crunchyroll

it's cheap price makes it the best comic subscription service in my opinion DC And Marvel cost more plus you are usually behind when it comes to available issues so you can't really keep up with the discussion

i watched chainsaw man recently because while i usually watch dub content and not much subtitled content this was one of those shows i couldn't wait 2-3 weeks just to watch....same goes for MHA S6(Although i might switch over to the dub soon for that) I'm still perplexed that CR talked up the dub at NYCC and then just left dub only viewers to wonder "Okay when is it coming out?"

someone on the anime dubs sub-reddit said the english dub will probably go through some problems due to alex organ(voice of loid forger)being a theater actor and as such it might be hard to get him to record on a consistent schedule
