  1. i think a third rerun would really kill toonami for me....this is what i look forward to every saturday night
  2. i think it's funny that tonight there's still a new episode of steven universe future on cartoon network
  3. and just make people run to funimation now even quicker
  4. seems weird they'd kill time and even air A Lupin OVA just for a rerun....
  5. advertising has gotten a bit out of hand on television is all I'm saying....to the point where it feels like the ads themselves are the focus with how long the breaks seem to be for most channels
  6. They Need to learn sooner or later that holidays don't prevent people from watching anime
  7. i mean Fire Force's Second Opening(Cut)doesn't get anyone hyped at all...just when it's about to it just stops....what changed that suddenly intro's either have to be super short or not exist at all? are networks in such big trouble that they need a million commercials?
  8. and these antique ways of running a network won't do them any favors
  9. as always I'll probably just have it as background noise and be watching random youtube videos instead...
  10. I'm reminded how i miss the days when tv shows could have intro's that weren't just a couple seconds long....all to just have an ungodly amount of commercials main reason why most action shows i see on television don't even have an intro....
  11. this episode just seems to be going in circles....
  12. i feel like MHA Was a better cliffhanger episode than this was
  13. i understand but there's nobody else to really voice complaints to unfortunately so that's the only person available even though he has no control over the schedule he's still the only person within the toonami brand that can be reached there's very little anyone can do except just deal with it or go to funimation now because there's no way to get toonami to change it's mind without any way to truly get in touch with them and make sure they understand that holiday marathons aren't really the best idea in A DVR/On Demand/Streaming World
  14. i agree and i can just imagine Demarco chewing out someone who tries to say that on twitter
  15. the main film coming out on christmas is cats and I'm not sure how many are gonna go see that honestly.... i just think it's a bit silly to punish loyal toonami viewers by saying "hey you only watch us right? well enjoy not having new episodes for several weeks!" and thinking that only the people who have no lives at all would have a problem with this
  16. some people(including those at toonami)do it because they feel if they take that time off they can start the new year fresh and renewed i understand why you hate it though because if you really need something and can't get it done due to the holidays then it really makes you think the cards are stacked against you if you don't hop on an air-plane for every little holiday or have a drunken party then You'd feel like all those channel hiatus's and breaks are stupid
  17. i hope they go with the shorter marathons list next year as well....because the more marathons there are the harder it is for some people to strictly stick with toonami instead of watching on something like funimation now
  18. and all because they think most toonami viewers don't watch television during the holidays.....
  19. whatever the case maybe...nobody likes these hiatus's and all it does is push the people who actually care about toonami closer and closer to just streaming that stuff if you really cared about those shows why would you restrict yourself to watching them when toonami says you should watch them when that means being several weeks behind?
  20. why does this myth that nobody watches television during the holidays still exist? you might as well say nobody plays video games on the holidays and that's just as stupid of a statement to make...
  21. reminds me of a common saying attached to such shows "i grew up but these characters didn't" You Could have been watching something like it ever since you were a kid only to realize while You've grown and changed as a person over time those characters have pretty much stayed the same and are even the same age as when you first discovered them it has this weird effect where you feel less interested in the characters knowing they'll never truly learn or develop any sort of progression yeah sure we might have learned more about them but if there's a part 6 none of this will really matter and It'll be back to business as usual with People-Log not even getting a mention
  22. Lupin feels so out of place on toonami though due to it's "don't give a crap" attitude because nothing will ever matter in the long run because the characters will be the same by the end
  23. luckily they'll just hit the status quo reset button if there's another series
