  1. i assumed flattening the curve/social distancing existed so as to not collapse the hospitals and put too much strain on the healthcare system i don't see how that can happen if most people think covid-19 is a hoax and are continuing to gather somehow a small minority can't really flatten the curve there's literally a judge in my state whose frustrated that there are more people disobeying the guidelines than following them and is considering A Mandatory lockdown in his county where people can't leave the house at all not even for groceries or a simple walk
  2. except I've heard that nintendo doesn't really trust it's employees enough to send them home with content for future games so working from home isn't really feasible for them honestly indie games probably won't be affected too much but anything bigger will be in trouble
  3. since most people seem to be ignoring social distancing....toonami may need to figure out a long term plan
  4. without any income coming in for most people.....where's that leave the video game industry? they can't really keep going if most people can't even afford to buy them
  5. do you think cowboy bebop or ghost in the shell will take over this time slot after black clover runs out of dub episodes?
  6. remember when restaurants existed? now it's like talking about the dodo bird
  7. sucks but so many companies seem to think they can just wait out the corona virus.....Such As Disney Refusing to put mulan 2020 on disney plus because they think as soon as the theaters open back up that will be a massive money maker and they can't throw that away
  8. honestly you'd think at this point the companies would be a little more generous and offer toonami something from the backlog since events outside anyone's control caused this to happen and it wouldn't be right to just leave toonami with no option but to fill the block with old shows and marathons for the long haul that's a short term solution.....toonami can't stick around with that as a long term solution
  9. yeah well here's the thing if it did vanish forever we either lose that time slot or it gets replaced with cowboy bebop for the billionth time on toonami.... neither is anything to celebrate
  10. i played AC for gamecube but i don't recall playing it that much so i can say new leaf is my AC without a doubt as i said i have yet to download NH so i can't make any comments on that currently
  11. So I'm Hearing that after Food Wars S2 finale...it just vanishes from the schedule and some are thinking toonami's gonna permanently remove it....but that just doesn't make any sense especially now when they need the content And S3 is already dubbed
  12. Just telling people to stay indoors and flatten the curve is nice and all but if nobody's getting paid and small businesses are forced to permanently shutdown what do we do for them now?.....big or small no business can operate normally without anyone buying anything and if nobody has any money coming in they won't be buying anything except essential supplies more people are at home watching tv and all we have to give them are old movies marathons and reruns boredom is a common thing because nobody has a choice but to be a prisoner inside they're own house now and there's not much to do or watch(plus that whole not getting paid thing hanging over them)
  13. a few marathons is one thing the possibility this pandemic could last into next year is another thing entirely nobody knows how long this will last and without the country being on mandatory lockdown all we have is the honor system where we hope people respect the social distancing rules and stay at home but knowing how many idiots are out there who like to be rebellious and stupid(people whose brains are full blown derp mode 24/7) we'll likely have to become much stricter
  14. I Would have picked it up sooner but lately I've been suffering due to allergies.....feeling better than i was a couple days ago though
  15. No Fans of dynasty warriors i see
  16. well no i think it's just the case that toonami will have to become home to marathons and classic reruns indefinitely because most experts don't see this clearing up anytime soon and with the situation becoming everyday we should get used to marathons being the norm for a long time
  17. some experts think this pandemic could last 12-18 months....what would toonami even do in that situation? i really wonder because they'd run out of marathons and classic reruns by that point
  18. You'd think in a pandemic these companies wouldn't be so stingy....you can't honestly expect toonami to run on nothing but marathons and reruns of classic shows this isn't going away anytime soon and the sad part is i think many companies think it will just blow over in a couple weeks
  19. i know this sounds like an overreaction but i think if this crisis is still strangling the country near the end of this year....Toonami could be in serious trouble you can't run a block full of reruns forever and expect it to continue purely out of good will just like how people shouldn't expect the electric company to not charge them forever
  20. at this point some positivity is really needed
  21. what? You honestly think nobody's gonna take this as the chance to scream "My theories were right" and go full blown wacky survival mode
  22. as soon as we are...you can say hello to doomsday preppers looting peoples houses and killing people for they're toilet paper of all things....
  23. seems like there's little good news at the moment...and the news is constantly making it seem like the only thing we have in our lives now is to constantly discuss the corona virus and how terrible the world is now
  24. then you have stuff like smile dog and ben drowned
