  1. People won't understand it because it's self-aggrandizing tripe. Take it to your bipolar board - it's an embarrassment here.
  2. Fuck you, whippersnapper. Also, happy birthday 🎂
  3. Me. Not only was I pleasant and fun, I was an ER nurse when the kids were in school, so they didn't have to worry about first aid.
  4. A rolled up newspaper works well, too
  5. I thought that this was going to be about barn cats.
  6. Were you given any more edged weapons?
  7. Why have you been doing it? Back pain? No mattress?
  8. I saw this when you first posted it, and just got it.

    Indeed.
  10. I'm just afraid that she'll accept them as the norm.
  11. Please. Leave me in my insulated cocoon of optimism.
  12. Oh, you sweet summer child...
  13. I both weep and cringe for the day when Madison stumbles down the rabbit hole that is your internet footprint.
  14. Stop making eye contact.
  15. Goddamn peanut/tree nut free spaces. I refuse to feed innocent children sunflower seed butter.

  18. Just back away from the keyboard. Go do whatever you're actually supposed to be doing, or get a drink of water, or go for a walk. You are winding yourself up, and the kindest thing that you can do for yourself right now is to disengage.
  19. Actually, that would speak more to PTSD. Personality disorders begin forming in very early childhood.
  20. But you have talked about abuse. And cutting isn't the only form of self-harm out there. Besides, bpd isn't the only cluster b diagnosis.
  21. Yeah. I've read that bipolar and cluster b often go hand in hand.
  22. Beyond saying "Look at meeeeee!" what's the point? People with other health conditions don't usually make general announcements regarding them. It's usually on a need to know basis I told my supervisors and the providers and other nurses I worked with that I was bipolar because (and I was pretty blunt about it) I can't always tell when I'm starting to cycle, and I wanted them to be able to say "Hey, you're getting really wound up. Do something about it." It was a safety issue; I was responsible for people's health, and the people I discussed it with were professionals with some appreciation of mental illness. I've never told anybody at the library. Why would I? If I get a little hypomanic and scattered, there's not a whole lot of damage I can do there. Unless I need to take a mental health related leave, there's really no reason they need to know.
  23. Ah. That sounds a bit more promising.
