  1. it is vague, but there's nothing in there that suggests adult swim is airing normally.
  2. it's a press release
  3. "For the first time ever, the series will take over Cartoon Network and Boomerang with all 20 episodes debuting back-to-back."
  4. unfortunately "Beginning Saturday, July 7 at 6 a.m. (ET/PT) through Sunday, July 8, all episodes will go into rotation for 48 hours in this can't-miss double network takeover event." the lack of clarification probably means it's exactly that
  5. it's like the ghost in the shell episode portraitz with the statue and fight that never happened
  6. expecting the 6/30 schedule (and info about the 7th) to be posted on facebook thursday
  7. http://www.thefutoncritic.com/news/2018/06/11/pack-your-bags-summer-camp-island-begins-july-7-on-cartoon-network-108313/20180611cartoon01/
  8. looks like adult swim will be preempted july 7th and 8th so TVB most likely August 5th
  9. it costs them money to advertise on a turner network?
  10. Probably July 29th at 11:30, the week after Robot Chicken's season ends. Black Jesus, if it airs on sundays, will probably have to air at 11. I don't see that fitting any later with everything else that's supposed to air this year. And I have to imagine that's coming next month. Harvey Birdman, Attorney General is likely the next special and that's in the fall, so the week after Mr. Neighbor's House 2 is either Black Jesus or Mostly 4 Millennials. Hopefully they premiere within a week of each other whatever the order. M4M is supposed to be 8 episodes, that's probably getting doubled up at midnight. Then Lazor Wulf and Bad Guys (if that's the Paul Scheer show coming) right after, each doubled up. A new season of Check it Out! should also be airing this year, probably around December. Should have to be doubled up regardless if YPF and Dream Corp only air half their respective seasons this year.
  11. july 7th is closer to july 4th. but if they're restarting kai i doubt episode 1 would run again during a marathon the following week.
  12. it won't change your opinion, but i can direct you to the bright side of it: tsurumaki and sadamoto are involved adult swim has wanted more since they aired it so it's not a case of reviving something years later for the fuck of it adult swim would do more to respect the show than if it was in anyone else's hands
  13. adult swim also wants "Cowboy Bebop 2" so that's not a concern "lupin the fourth" isn't weird since a lupin the eighth show was in development at one point
  14. i mean, adult swim has been asking for more flcl since they first aired it
  15. might as well watch all 6 and a half hours
  16. the ratings for everything after MHA are likely wrong. wonder what nielsen has as airing at 4 and 4:30. as i recall they messed up Shelter/Kai in 2016, reported The Cleveland Show at 3:30 instead of American Dad! in 2015 when that changed, misreported the time of the Avey Tare music video last year which messed up some of Bebop's time slots. even though it wasn't scheduled, The Voidz music video messed up some of that night's time slots and since it had a content rating it should be considered programming. last week's Alpaca Alien Pacalien shorts didn't mess up any slots but was given a content rating, though just like The Voidz didn't appear on the schedule. so just like the bebop marathon where 12-2:30's numbers are meaningless, 12-5 this night is too.
